Long Dry spell
It's October 20th and for the next two months there is only ONE Saturday home game (Bradford City) scheduled. There is a Tuesday night game (Luton Town). Talk about a drought!!!!

We might get drawn away or only have one cup tie. In the roughly two months between Blackpool Oct 23 and Colchester Dec 18 there is only one SCHEDULED home Saturday fixture.Gee Bee said:Well the 23rd we are at home to Blackpool.![]()
There is also two rounds of the FA cup which take up 2 saturdays. We might get drawn at home.
Which means in 6 league weeks (take out FA cup weeks) we have 3 home games, which is one every other week.

whatever size gate we draw on Tuesday, it would be larger on SaturdayClaire said:luton could be a big game as well as a 'local derby' if you can call it that, so it should raise the attandence, even being a mid week game.

Simon T said:I asked a question to Bees United earlier in the season about whether we had enough money to make it through the season and they highlighted this period as a potential problem in terms of cashflow. Hopefully they have some initiative in place to try and maximise attendance at the one scheduled home game and announce it in good time (this weekends match perhaps).
That was never my concern. That's the time I have a two week trip back to the UK and I can't find any Brentford home fixtures to go to. I'm going to stay until December 19th in order to take in the Colchester match on the 18th.Gee Bee said:If they are still 1st and we are 2nd or 3rd, I would expect just as large gate on a tuesday. In recent years top of the table midweek games we have been involved in against Brighton gave us decent crowds.
I believe you have little to be concerned about.![]()
