You cannot tell if the rear foot is off the ground or not.

The back leg is at a really weird angle if the foot is on the ground!

Feels like the big clubs are annoyed that an upstart like Brentford has utilised a skill that's hurting them. Reactionary nonsense that will get discussed, but they won't do anything about it because really they just want to vent at the fact tinpot Brentford has found a way to even the playing field with the elite.

I wonder if they'll eventually change the rule so you can be offside from a throw in? Wouldn't really change long throws from the corner area, but would mean defending teams could play a high line from throws taken closer to the half way line.

Just as an aside since we've been in the Prem a lot of other fans have compared us to Stoke City well I'll take that at the moment considering they spent ten years in the Premiership. Thank God for Rory Delap.

All Premier League teams might become more effective at long throws in the coming years. Many are only just starting out on their long-throw journey, and they may eventually become as effective as Brentford.
