Driving from Southampton in my old banger....got to leave Saturday as will take 2 days to get there...lovely old car....if it rains you will get wet feet and there is no heater or in car music....hope there are no hills as I might need a push....can't drive back until Tuesday as lights not up to standard and at 77 yrs old my eyesight ain't what it used to be.....

Looking back at the Grimsby thread:
• Allocation 1,300 went to Members (last handful of tickets)
• Approx 20 tickets offered on here in the days leading up to the game.

Assuming FA Cup > EFL Cup Macclesfield allocation is 1,400 (~1,300 terrace + 88 seats) could be last few tickets at All STH window on Tuesday 14:00 but chances of going to Members seems slim.

Not sure what sized club that makes us on the “Tranmere Scale” but anyone wanting a ticket last minute likely to get one.

Hi - i am presuming that, despite the ticket giving a "seat" number, it is free seating. Asking as i bought myself a ticket earlier in the week and my son one today as he is not in the same TAP category as me and wanted to make sure we can sit together....

It's a terrace, unless you bought in the actual seats.

I don’t understand why anyone would avail themselves of sitting in a car with a complete stranger for hours on end. Not knowing if it’s Sterling Moss or Miss Daisy driving, and listening to their drivel on how bad Schade is.

If it helps you understand when I just got my license as a 17 year I took many a random brentford fan to gsmes to help reduce the cost. Many I didn’t know came via a friend or a friends friend who work at Tesco Osterley and the like. Can’t say many of them asked about a catching another ride . But it does make me chuckle that several people working at Brentford currently swanning about sat in the back of my Vauxhall wondering was it a good idea for the driver and his co pilot to be figuring out how many pints could you get away with and still pass a breath test if you factored in eating and consumption rate

Went to Barcelona v Real Madrid in 86/87 and you actually had a terrace ticket which corresponded with a number to stand on the terrace !!! I was next to the only 7 Madrid fans in the whole ground…. in the home end they didn’t do away support in those days

If Grimsby went on sale to members, briefly, it seems logical that Macclesfield would be about the same rate of sale, no? Both similar allocations, both long weeknight trips to places we rarely play... It's even the same gap since we last played them (17 seasons).

Macclesfield gets a small uptick because at least you can get home on a train the same night (very late), and a small downward tick because I suppose it will be easier to watch it on TV in pubs.. Macclesfield is the only TV game on Monday 16th whereas Grimsby may not have been on in many pubs outside of TW8.

This was done in the FA Cup R4 thread. For league matches away allocation at Macclesfield is 88 seats plus the whole Silkmen terrace (e.g. home game vs Beford Town - yes their site does allow you to reserve the whole block of 88 tickets)
Internet says that terrace can hold up to 1,530 but given our ticket sales say 1,400 allocation (maximum) it would make sense that we get the same 88 seats leaving max 1,312 on the terrace. Therefore, somewhere bewteen 95 - 110 terrace tickets remaining for our game.
