If Ide, Kuffour and Abbey make an appearance on Saturday..make sure they receive thunderous applause and support for actually caring and putting in worthwhile performances for the Red and White stripes during this season...

So Ok Kuffour is off at the end of the campaign and Abbey possibly won't play again, but give credit where credit is due...

You do what you want, all I am saying is that it would be a tad unfair if those players who have genuinly put in the effort were tarred with the same brush..

But no doubt a few will be waiting at the end to w**k the others off as well..

have you not been witnessing the shambles on the pitch?
have you not seen the latest league one table?
have you not realised which division we are playing in next year - and why we are going to be playing there?

have you not realised the players have been paid to play and perform and have done neither this year. and will end up breaking a number of Brentford "worst" records. Not a bad effort, eh?

oh no the brentford team of 2006/07 they must be congratulated on all their hard work they have done this season, wil give them the will to do the same next season i hope....... :fishing: (well excited)

I need to get this right as it's important to follow the right etiquette. As far as I can see we have a few different categories. Let me know if I've got this right.

Under-performers on a reasonable wage: O'Connor, Frampton, Heywood, Shipperley, Brooker, Willock, Pinault - Boo loudly, use bad words
People who've done ok but we don't like very much: Nelson - Boo
Limited players who aren't good enough: Mousinho, Leary, Keith, Osbourne, Tillen, Masters,Charles - Grumble a bit, sometimes laugh
Players we like: Abbey, Ide, Kuffour - Cheer a lot, throw hats in the air.
Owusu: Cheer 'cos he's scored nearly a 100 goals but boo 'cos he's on good money.

It all sounds a bit too confusing to me. I might therefore resort to type and sit in abject misery and silence, much as I have done since November.

Mrs Greenholme is obviously in a pmt rage at the mo.I guess she'll be driving her new car tomorrow,roof down in the hot sunshine,pouting and throwing hair clips at any one who even looks at her.Im sure by 5pm she'll have vented her spleen and will taking new bookings for blue rinses and perms.

You missed a few there..

Players who can pass the ball to another Brentford player.... boo loudly..
Players who show 'passion' by taking out the oppo and then hoofing the ball off the pitch.. cheer loudly and give new contracts..
Managers who are black and have a dreadful record... abuse and boo from the off
Managers who are white and 'Brentford through and through' but have an equally bad record...... cheer and sympathise and suggest they havent been given enough time..
Any youth team players who clearly arent good enough for league football..... cheer anyway as they've got 'red and white blood' running through their veins..
Players who've been great in previous seasons but have struggled under two incredibly incompetent managers....... boo as they're obviously not trying..
Anyone who wants a Brentford team to play good football... boo loudly and go on about never getting anywhere with bottlers, even though Fitz left out all the supposed 'bottlers' and still got us relegated before anyone else..
Supporters at Griffin Park..... cheer loudly and pat on back using phrases like 'best supporters in the country' and 'we don't deserve the muppets on the pitch' conveniently ignoring the fact that the atmosphere at GP this season from day one has been the most negative, aggressive and ignorant for a long, long time and has without doubt been a major contribution to the poor home form this season..

How about tumultuous applause and acclaim for the Forest goalie, followed by deafening boos for all our players, bar Abbey, Kuffour, Ide and Owusu?

I realise not everyone rates these four, but I would excuse them from responsibility for our fate - and no others.

In most peoples opinion they were both pony, it is just we were resigned to our fate by the time Fitz record was as bad as Leroy's.

i think it is harsh to slate nelson for this season as he has been injured for most of it,and the games he has played he has been very good, particularly the games at the start of the season.

Leroy was getting booed after losing only 5 league games lol then sacked after losing 7 lol

Fitz lost 16 or so, but he's still a top bloke we feel sorry for, boo Leroy, boo very much.
