Middle and upper tier views are excellent.

I'd say atmosphere better in the lower tier, though you are surrounded by their fans to your right and left and they aren't the friendliest bunch.

Agreed - there were loads of empty seats last season anyway and that was a weekend/Saturday game. Trains not an option so will have to drive which means stopping work at 3pm and not getting back till gone 1am - imagine that many are in a similar situation so understandably a game too far for some.

I've not been able to do this one yet and this season is a no due to work.

Decided to make an effort and get to this one. Booked tickets for me and a mate, and then sorted the train. Last night I get an email from an old friend who lives locally telling me that someone, a few streets away, has posted on Facebook that he received a letter bearing my name and is asking does anyone know me. Picked it up this morning with the tickets enclosed.

There are good people in the world. The bloke could have just popped it back in the letter box. My old friend thankfully saw the message the bloke posted and took the time to contact me.

Clearly this presages that the Gods have deemed we will smite the City and avenge the curse of Foden.
