Man City Programme
Sold out at all outlets by 3.50 yesterday. Anyone know if these are still available to buy online or any other method? Thanks
They are usually available online post match, you really get the sense there’s little commercial interest in programmes these daysSold out at all outlets by 3.50 yesterday. Anyone know if these are still available to buy online or any other method? Thanks
They were definitely available outside the South Stand at 4:15 yesterday.Sold out at all outlets by 3.50 yesterday. Anyone know if these are still available to buy online or any other method? Thanks
They were still available in the club shop after the game.
They were sold out everywhere I looked in and around the west stand pre match, they’re usually available online but can’t find them for yesterdays game. Having had 0 problems in our first season the programme system was a bit of a shambles this year, regularly sold out over 20 mins before kick off.Sold out at all outlets by 3.50 yesterday. Anyone know if these are still available to buy online or any other method? Thanks
I’ve got a spare one. If you can pay the postage I’ll be happy to send it to you.Sold out in there way before the game.
@cromerbeeI’ve got a spare one. If you can pay the postage I’ll be happy to send it to you.
Well the fella next to me at the till got one ,after the game when I was paying. Maybe they had some stock come back to them.Sold out in there way before the game.
Is that to me? Thanks. If you could dm me your details? Thanks very much.I’ve got a spare one. If you can pay the postage I’ll be happy to send it to you.
That many??? 3 for me...Still waiting for mine to arrive as per subscription. Out of the 19 I should have received, I have had just six arrive before the relevant match. Not good.
In which case why put so much effort into them? They really are excellent, more like a mini-magazine than just a programme, packed with info about the current match, previous meetings, club history, B-Bees, Brentford Women, interviews, stats, stuff for kids, fantastic photography, etc. Beautifully printed too.Varney wants them gone.
As a BIAS rep, I spoke about programme outages and long queues with retail head (?) James who was at the West Stand Merch Kiosk Pre-game. Asked him if he could explore whether club could put Maps on front of each programme stall, showing where other programme outlets were In case of long queues. We also need better publicity about where to buy programmes after the match, which I believe is just to the right of that West Stand Merch Kiosk (I’ve successfully bought there after a game). There were about 50 in the queue at South Stand seller before the game at 4.15. They didn't all get a programme. I didn't bother queuing and went in and tried the pop up shop in the Dugout bar, I know they normally have them. No luck, all gone. After the game I bunked in to the Legends lounge promptly at the end of the speeches, normally there is a surplus there. Nothing there either. Final option, try the entrance to the south stand where they hand out lanyards etc. Asked and they found one in a box, let me have buckshee which was nice.
Why ?Sold out in there way before the game.
The sellers are apparently in touch with a central colleague, who is supposed to bring out any spares they have elsewhere. Not sure why the programme seller on the bridge was still standing at his post when he had sold out.
Told him it was silly but apparently he had to stay put ?
Yeah he said he wasn't getting anymore. Found it strange he had to stay put.The sellers are apparently in touch with a central colleague, who is supposed to bring out any spares they have elsewhere.
Was fine the first season. It should not be difficult selling a programme prior to a game is it?
Yet we seem too make it that way.
I think it’s the mix of all 3 of:It should not be difficult selling a programme prior to a game is it?
Yet we seem too make it that way.
4.75 for postage put me right off.I think it’s the mix of all 3 of:
1. cashless purchases (during)
2. long queues on bridge and at south stand 15-30 mins before game
3. fans in a rush not being clear where there are shorter queues, or places to buy later
- is why we need Maps on each booth, and a clear idea where programmes can be bought both at half time and after the game.
plus for online purchases, would appear to be,
1. late delivery
2. expensive postage
BIAS will keep communicating with club about progress on the above.
There was one right by the Kew Bridge station and another on the right by the steps to the station. Was fine the first season.
Seller outside Magnet, one on the bridge, one by the bicycle shed.
We are probably the shining light in programme selling, a leading example to all, that's why other prem clubs & FA reps come to the gtech to see how its doneIt should not be difficult selling a programme prior to a game is it?
Yet we seem too make it that way.
I think that’s the point. There just isn’t an issue for fans who arrive early. The card machines have worked fine most weeks (there were one-off Wi-Fi issues in the odd week). But there seems to be a big congestion issue outside South Stand (and maybe on the Bridge) for those fans that arrive late. The club need to find a way to redirect those late arriving fans to where there are short queues, and if not guide them to outlets at half-time and after the match. Work In Progress to influence the club on for improved comms and signage for next season.............yep............rocked up at 2.30 and bought loads................easy peasy..............
I was at the ground 40 minutes before kick off and still couldn't get a copy. Far from the only time this season either.I think that’s the point. There just isn’t an issue for fans who arrive early. The number of sellers has been significantly reduced, there were three last season between Kew Bridge and the seller at south stand entrance, now only the one at the south stand entrance.I think that’s the point. Do we know this for sure.Varney wants them gone.
I subscribed for our first session in the EPL. The programmes always arrived a week after the match concerned. I haven’t read one of them.Still waiting for mine to arrive as per subscription. Out of the 19 I should have received, I have had just six arrive before the relevant match. Not good.
Do many Magnet customers buy one?Was fine the first season.
Seller outside Magnet, one on the bridge, one by the bicycle shed.
At Tottenham, we saw one programme seller who had sold out and went to the next one and bought the programmes. This was at 11.15am, 75 minutes before the game!!4.75 for postage put me right off.
1.50 direct from the printers would be much more beneficial.
I saying that i did that for Tottenham away and i still havent seen one.
Incidentally i did not see a programme seller at The Lane.
Yeah I can't believe they have to type the amount in each time. The process takes too long, waiting for the payment to clearThe number of sellers has been significantly reduced, there were three last season between Kew Bridge and the seller at south stand entrance, now only the one at the south stand entrance.
They also need to look at the card machines, each time the seller is having to type in the amount, they need fixed price devices that don't seek approval each time. There is a risk that a payment won't go through later

More sellers and take cash, that would help![]()

correct change only would be quickestI think cash would turn out slower if they had the right machines.
………..they can’t see the attraction………..Do many Magnet customers buy one?
Not overall as change needs to be counted before and after and then taken to the bankcorrect change only would be quickest![]()
Don't suppose you have a spare I could buy from you, please?............yep............rocked up at 2.30 and bought loads................easy peasy..............
Mine arrived today and it is damaged. At Tottenham, we saw one programme seller who had sold out and went to the next one and bought the programmes. This was at 11.15am, 75 minutes before the game!!
We want it to stay we want it to stay,Varney wants them gone.
I think opposition fans are attracted………..they can’t see the attraction………..
I met a fella from MagnetDo many Magnet customers buy one?
