Well done BFC - they've identified that the laundry cost £20k p.a. but by investing £10k of the dosh received from Lifeline, that they could save £10k - this is marvellous to see that the Club are investigating each item of expenditure closely

erm, why wasn't it done a couple of years ago ?????????????

Mr Noades' skills "have led to ......"

no wonder we "lose £1m a year at GP" - ops sorry, that's now "£500k this year" - oops sorry, that's now "break even next year"

what a shambles ...........

Just think what we could save if tax benefits were re-invested in BFC...

Bloody hell Bee H, are you serious? Where did these figures come from?

How the hell can anyone justify paying £20k pa for kit laundering? Surely it would be a loy more cost effective for a part time laundry person to be employed and a washer/dryer purchased?

I sometimes wonder at the business accumen of anyone employed by BFC and more importantly that of wishy washy Noades!!!!

:lol :lol :lol

I think that, in the business world, this would be called a "no brainer". In other words the return on the investment speaks for itself.

For those who doubt the Noades/Hargreaves commitment to the club here is a clear indication that there isn't any.

Are you sure it's the kit and not money being laundered?

Lets save another 10k on laundry. Make the players take it in turns to take the kit home.
:p

I've an old washing machine I could donate to GP.....but there again, that's no way to talk about me mam.:D

My washing machine at uni costs 70p and th drying is 20p so maybe i'll do the kit from now on. :)

Bloody hell....

That is awful, that is the wages for nearly a year of another player on £500 a week, that is awful.

Wouldn't you think building a small laundrette would be cheaper, they could open it up during the week and old ladies could come in and do their washing!

Terrible.

Can we get a copy of the club accounts from somewhere? Even with the players wages blacked out and staff it would be interesting.
