There was a recent interview (where it looks like he's pissing in a urinal) with him in German where it sounds like he's had a few MLS trials, but nothing has come of it.

This can safely be moved to Former Bees now!

THAT IS HILARIOUS!!!!! He is blatantly taking a pee whilst giving an interview. Only in Germany. And perhaps Luton.

Had the odd good game but in general he couldn't cope with the pace and power of English football I thought. Would be 4th choice if he came back.

Agreed he would be a 4th choice now but wouldn't be a bad option to have as a fourth choice. He had two poor matches against Huddersfield and plenty more games where he looked a solid defender - as his record shows. Shame he hasn't got fixed up yet as he seemed like a nice guy as well. Hopefully 2013 will see him find a new club.

You do that -but 11 clean sheets in 20 matches in Division one and a decent career in German Football tends to suggest that he can play a little bit rather than your droll witicism....just my opinion of course:wave:

Fair point, so why dont other clubs snap him up after seeing this information? I suggest he is either not as good as the stats appear to make him look or he thinks so highly of himself he has priced himself out of his next club.

It's possible indeed -however I liked him as a player, Uwe was very complimentary about him although it didn't work out for him with us and from everything I saw both on and off the pitch he came across as a genuine guy and football professional and for those reasons I hope he does find a club he is successful with.

It's a shame he wasn't first team more often, was a class above anyone we had, just lacked the physical presence slightly. Class act.
