Not sure if you were there but the one we had a few weeks ago that played brilliant advantages where he could and let the game go made quite an impression with everyone (barr our Chappers). Agree with you that Halsey was a gem comared to some other top flight refs we've had.

Met him once or twice. Really nice guy. He lives up in Bolton now but I am sure he used to be a QPR fan too.

MA was late out of the dressing room for the 2nd half. He stood in front of the nice Paddock boys and coached the team from there as we were on the attack. The ball went out and Halsey yelled and gestured at MA for him to get to the technical area with a Mr Angry face followed by a huge grin. He was taking the p*ss out of MA and both loved it.

Respect and best wishes to Mr Halsey on a full recovery :sorted:

Glad he's back, the best thing he ever did was screw over Fulham when they played Arsenal at the Cottage, during Arsenal's unbeaten run.
