Been asked to "explain" his comments after describing Clattenburg's performance as "mystifying - at times laughable". Can anyone explain how that's not self-explanatory?

Clattenburg apparently asked their backroom staff how they put up with Bellamy all week.

If this is true surely it's Clattenburg who should have to explain his comments.
