Mark Peters........Again

Where is he?

Is he injured?

Is he out of favour? If so why?

When he signed, he was hailed as a rising star, i've seen him play about 15 minutes of first team football in 3 months.

If he is out of favour and with our current striker crisis, surely, any differences should be put aside and he should get a run out.

Is this what happens when players are bought without the active involvement of the management? This is a genuine question and I am not trying to be devious in asking it, but did Steve Coppell ask the club to acquire Peters, or was he simply dropped into the squad from on high?

Mark Peters........Again

Coppell did not sign him it was Ron i beleive

Mark Peters........Again

I can't believe that no one knows what the story is.

Is he injured or out of favour?

What is happening with Mark Peters?

Mark Peters........Again

You can blame the club administration for many things, but you can't blame them for Mark Peters' determination to throw his career down the toilet. Peters' CV suggests he should be an effective Division Two player - if that is what he wishes for.

Nobody ever asks how we managed to discover Sonko, or Roget. The sly old bugger may still have final say regarding transfers, but the system has seen many good players arrive at GP (as well as more than a few duds).

Isn't it all down to the legendary John Griffin?

Mark Peters........Again

If he is injured, fine.

If it is a difference of opinion that is keeping him out and he is not wanted, shouldn't we be giving him a free transfer and get the wage bill down a bit more?

Mark Peters........Again

Exactly.

Having said that, it goes for several others who are in the squad and have little to no chance of getting on the bench, let alone the first team.

Mark Peters........Again

My guess is that he has shown little in his onfield performances in the reserves to justify a first team call up even given our lack of strikers.

I can only envisage that he has also not shown the right attitude both in training and off the field.

I also assume that efforts have been made to offload him before his contract expires in 18 months time so far without success

New Brentford transfer policy

We do not take players from Southampton.

Remember those quality defenders a couple of seasons ago -Warner and another

Steve Jenkins. A player so good that we took Neil Clement on loan rather than give him a first team run out.

Mark Peters........Again

A guy I know said that Wally is too scared of playing Peters because he thinks he lacks ability. Apparently the only reason he's in the squad is because of a small pool of players...

Mark Peters........Again

Didn't recognise him warming up last time he was seen on the subs bench - shaved head and er.... porky!
We thought he was a mascot, how we laughed when he came on as a sub.
