Match Schedule

14 games in the next 46 days.
A game every 3 days, 6 hours and 50 minutes (roughly).
Great for us supporters having a ‘lot to look forward to’ but if ever there was a time we need a full, fit squad......

That’s why the loanees have returned.

I’d also bring back Oksanen come the end of Jan.

We’ll need the squad of 30 plus players to see us through this. Especially if no signings are coming in. Which seem unlikely and understand why. The B team players have their opportunity now to show their worth to the Club. And the Club to show they were right in having a B team.

Assuming no further rounds in the fa cup too...

There is a point though where have to say 'we've got enough'. Even with 9 players on the bench, if we bring back Oksanen he probably won't even make that, particularly as it looks like Norgaard is on his way back. We clearly have confidence in the B team boys to step up if need be as shown in the FA cup. I think we're pretty well covered in midfield and up front. Main concern would be left back cover and it would be nice to bring in that little bit extra bit of flair that we're missing but that's not an easy ask.. I think otherwise we're fine. You're never going to be able to cover every eventuality, otherwise you'd end up with an enormous squad and loads of players not happy at not getting any minutes.

I would like us to be able to add a player that as well as being an addition to our team, is also excellent from corners and free kicks. Ideally they would be from abroad and obscure, such as Vitaly and therefore undervalued

I reckon Ghoddos may well take that on.. Picking up undervalued players from abroad is looking v tricky at the moment so wouldn't expect that this Jan. It may be that either the goalposts move a bit (current rules are temporary I believe and will be reviewed) or we find ways around the issues and we can do that in the summer.

I really like Zamburek and Ghoddos looks like he is getting better and better so they are like new signings.

Halil has the potential to be great.

Sorenson has been a huge bonus this season so don't need another centre back imo.
