The players are given two shirts. Wearing both after changing at H/T.

PG mentions two shirts. So one from each player to be auctioned off. The other for giving out or kept for later? :shrug:

Bob once told me that he aims to get around 5 wears from each shirt after which they can be given out to fans, as they have been through their expected life, that's why sometimes they give them out and other times they don't..

It was something about looking like they are brand new each game, due to the washing and wear and tear they start to look a bit "used" after 5 games.
The players obviously like to give them away, so there has to be a guideline, or they will all give every shirt away every game and that obviously costs the club.
