We are definitely missing the maestro. My other concern is that he is yet to sign a new contract. I reckon he'll have a great autumn to his career. He seems to be getting better and better as he assumes the role of elder statesman in the team and acquires greater confidence as a result. If he's willing and able we should make a real effort to sign him up. Any known reasons for this not happening already?

I'd expect to hear something in the next quarter. Contract extensions and renegotiations (or not) are normally done in the period after the summer transfer window when Phil, Lee and Keith review the plans for next season.

Mathias Jensen is also set to miss Saturday’s trip to the south coast as he continues his recovery.

“He’s doing well,” said Andrews. “He won’t be involved tomorrow. Realistically, I don't think he'll be involved next weekend."

We'd also be more effective with Kayode's throw-ins with Jensen on the pitch. The option to throw shorter to him to deliver into the box from a different angle, with the opposition defence set at the near post to clear a throw, would result in many more opportunities. Add Collins into the mix for far post headers and we'd be scoring more.

Totally agree. When Matti got injured I thought oh s###. Now I'm really looking forward to the Liverpool match. Shame about 0-60 Zebedee, but that's being plain greedy.
