Apparently on a census form completed for Busby soon after he arrived in Manchester from Scotland, his Occupation is listed as: "Professional Fruit Boiler".

Is it a military trait, I wonder? Portsmouth’s programme was describing the colour of Team ‘knickers’ and ‘stockings’ throughout the 1960’s. (I was at that age to find it amusing.)
The Arsenal war time programme must be a collectible too. Advertising the next game as Spurs v qpr at 11am on Christmas Day! (FL South).
