4 away games a season at most isn't every game, I think they've lost the plot but they don't do away games, when they do they announce it for months or they used to before they were "banned".
I don't judge people on whether they go or not but let's keep it factual, I do listen more to those that do attend all the time, I will miss more games this season that any season in memory but let's keep it real. People can't do games for all sorts of reasons.

Couldn't give a monkeys... Yes we've moved on and pleased we have dean "supposedly in charge". Yes "king" benham has put a few bob in and saved us, I understand this.. But doesn't mean to say he's doing everything right.. He needs to recoup some of his losses.. He's not in this for fun.. He is a business man and hence why he's cashing in on our top players.. He should maybe forget the "stats" approach for 5 mins and get a forward on loan when it opens that is proven at this level or something.

Sorry but that's b0llox. Yes MB is a business man and an astute one at that. Don't insult the man saying he's cashing in our best players to recoup his money. He knows he's never gonna get back what he's put in, he's in it like I would be in it if I had a billion quid, for the good of the club and to try and drag us up from the gutter for once.
Don't get me wrong, all is not rosey, and this season has been a bit of a mess, but me saying what I say is not because I'm shovelling MB's sh1t for him, it's based on the fact he's so far pumped in £100M plus and counting, those are the only facts that matter to me.

We sell because it is the only way for us to survive with the 'big boys' financially. It's well documented that we'll buy young hungry players, develop them, and sell them for a huge profit. This also allows us to work within FFP. Until LR is up, running and established, it's the way of the (realistic) financials.

Yep, you are probably right - how else do you think we can survive financially? If there was no MB we wouldn't just be selling, we wouldn't be buying and in fairly short order we would back in the lower depths of L2 and beyond.

If you think benham is it in for the money you are quite clearly and factually mistaken. If benham wanted to make money he wouldnt of come anywhere near brentford. Im sure benham would of loved to have gone up last season and was willing to invest the money but we all know what happened and maybe all these players who are held in such high regard despite them jumping ship at the first sniff of some more money would still be here and benham would loved to have had those players here still. The fact is those players left for more money and because they dont care about brentford , perhaps rightly so but they didnt leave because benham was selling them on

Erm there's something called FFP that people seem to think is trotted out as an excuse as to why we have to sell.
How many more times has FFP got to be explained? The whole point of FFP was to stop rich owners pumping in millions to clubs that potentially leave them crippled when the money has to be repaid, a bit like a certain Ron Noades did to us.
Sadly MB invests primarily as equity as opposed to loans and would never therefore leave us crippled, but the FFP rules still restrict how much he can put in regardless of how much money he's got.

Even if he had 'a billion quid' do you really expect for him to put ALL his hard earned into BFC. He will have other financial commitments as well, just as we all do. I seem to remember reading some time ago, that he said he'd never put more than 20% of his personal funds into BFC.

You do when you invest in BFC, you really do, I hope he recoups loads on LR happening and the houses involved but I have no idea if he will. The years of fun we've had and will continue to have aren't because MB has been a brilliant businessman at BFC, that's his passion and his business success in other areas have allowed it to happen, if it ended tomorrow then we've all had a good time and thanks perhaps the upset folk with no clue would soon learn again what it's like not have the backing of a rich man with Brentford in his heart, I enjoyed it in those days when we were potless too but can do without them back any day soon. Give it up mate, BFC isn't a money maker for anyone.

Because they've a much bigger income stream than us. Double our crowds, The Riverside Stadium facilities for Corporate Events and Hires. We'll have some of that when we get to LR, but until then we are seriously restricted, financially.
