Max Haygarth (Released)
Haygarth loaned to Brentford B from Manchester United
Youngster joins Bees until January
Max Haygarth, midfielder signs for B team on loan from Man U. Anyone heard of him at all?
Unless they are paying us to develop himSeems a bit of a strange one, no mention of signing in the future, the benefit seems to be for MU?

I was going to say he’s already got a mate here. New tactics maybe? We sign on loan, wait for the next fallout or implosion at MU, and then pick him up in their clearout, if he’s any good. Our "try before you buy" policy on loans for the first team paid dividends circa 2011-2013, so maybe something similar is now being instituted for the B team. It's certainly good to develop the link with Man United and get higher up in the queue for their kids...or try a few before knowing to what standard they are trained. Hockenhull seems to have had a bit of an unsettled start.

The thread title is wrong, the loan is initially until January.
Loans no longer fit the model. No resale value after we have developed themPity we dont do loans in the first team. Welcome to the club.
Another one showing the B team lads the pathway ?
Hopefully we can make him ours soon ?
He played all of six minutes. You're a hard taskmaster.A few missed passes which wasn't overly encouraging
Do we, and he, want to make the loan permanent?
Signs permanently for B team.

He looks very promising.
He is. Only 18 and settled into B team really quickly. Two good feet, can go past players and a good shot on him.. Lots of promise.. The fact that he's already got first team minutes this early into his brentford career says a lot IMHO...
That short cameo at Forest was a brilliant move on our part as it helped convince a really talented and highly thought of player that he has a real future with us.
Attacking midfield I think ?Whats his natural position.
Whats his natural position.
I'd start him and replace with Gilbert around 60 mins.Lets hope he gets a good run on Saturday.
Not very edifying was it....
He'll learn from it .He is a Manc after all , Mad Ferret
Do they not teach you to spit the gum out before being interviewed on video at Manchester United?
