I must say that the advance sales for away games this season has been very very late in starting

I hope that when we get to Reading away they give us more than 7 days to try and sell them

Why?

7 days is more than enough time to buy them, if you need time to decide if you are going to go then make that decisioin now and buy them on the first day. Print them out at home or take a screenshot on your mobile and job done.

Away tickets are always sent in post.

The effective cut-off for posting away tickets is 5 working days, so away tickets need to be on sale, say, 5+3=8 working days prior; that's 10 days, with a weekend. The idea that the tickets need to be on sale before you decide to go is a bit odd, as long the the k.o. time and prices are known, that's enough to make a decision.

I would've thought the longer it takes for them to go on sale, the more chance people who are planning to go might change their minds...

That timeline is less and pushing it if your not a season holder or member.
I agree that ticket sales are starting far too late for whatever reason

The later we send tickets to away fans

The longer we can be on General Sale before the away fans sell out

5th time tomorrow, seeing us play up there
April 1987, Lost 0-2.
May 2015, Lost 0-3.
September 2015, Lost 1-3.
September 2017, Drew 2-2. On driving up there last time, some kids threw something from a bridge, which completely obliterated the rear windscreen. Got 3 point speeding fine on way back home too. Could’ve been worse.

Just had a S, S and S. Another tea and a cig and off we merrily go.
The pies are decent in Middlesborough.
Going to see my 2 dogs before and after game in Boroughbridge and need to get my stepsons kid something from club shop as he supports Middlesborough !

Early start, late return, a tank of diesel, turned very chilly as the sun went down, all worth it in the end, though!
