I've always enjoyed the England international test matches, but they're getting very expensive. I am determined to get along to some Middlesex game this year as I've never been to one before. Anybody know what size crowd do they usually get? I'm guessing it's quite low.

My dad was there yesterday and said there were a fair few families in, what with it being holiday time. Generally though, crowds are very low for midweek County Championship matches where you can have any one of a row of seats to choose from.

FWIW he was glad to see Housego get another chance and thought Malan, Simpson and Finn batted well. He thought that 277 after being put in was a good score as Essex have proved today - 42-1 following-on after being all out for 115. C'mon Middlesex!
