Sounds a good idea - might pop along in the afternoon Friday. Be a nice warm up ahead of another great Middlesex team turning over a load of plums from the deep south on Saturday.

Adult tickets covering the whole of the Uxbridge Festival (3 x T20 games plus the County Championship game v Gloucestershire) are only £40. Great value. Might have some of that!

As part of my continuing drive to return to good health, whatever that may mean, probably staying out of the boozer sadly, I have joined Middx CCC. Going to take in tomorrows game, and my membership allows use of a box once a season as well. Looks really good value IMO.

A close pal who has just had a heart attack has done likewise, should be interesting!
