Denly is no great loss, not surprised he was released. Compton seems to have come on since he left us, so must be a positive signing. Hope we perform for the whole of next season and not just the first half.

Rumours of a new all-rounder signing shortly, James Franklin has been mentioned (again only a rumour) as a Kolpak replacement for Gareth Berg.

Gareth incidentally has been invited to pre-season so although he has been released we just may not have seen the last of him.
