For next season:-

Finn out - he leaks runs at an amazing rate

Morgan out - does not seem able to play the red ball game

Malan out - does not seem able to score big runs anymore.

One or two seasons with young players and then we might be able to get out of division 2.

What about Robson scores runs for fun then fails for England hardly scored many runs since

A bit off topic but what happened to Durham today? Bowled out twice in the same day, didn’t make 70 in either innings!

Couldn't cope with the pace of Abbas, who was aided by very strong wind, according to the BBC report.

From a SCCC point of view I have obviously not followed your season as much as before

But can I ask How it is possible for Middlesex to have only scored NINE Batting Points in 12 matches this season ??

Incredible

Is it the different ball ??

Are pitches in Div 2 set up for bowlers ??

Big improvement
5 points in one innings

Middlesex declare at overnight score. Derby require 328 to win. Currently 22-0.

Bit of a generous declaration I think.

That victory turns the Championship results from a very poor season to a poor season.

Promotion next season?

Away at Durham tomorrow in the final match of the season. Amazingly the forecast is fairly good.
