Can We Play You Every Week
Middlesex CCC 2026
Season hasn't even started yet, and there's trouble ahead.
We renewed, but seriously considered not doing so. Have heard plenty others haven't renewed and the membership numbers has taken a dive. Sadly, I can see Middlesex struggling to even exist in a couple seasons time.Absolute shambles. I haven’t renewed for this season.
Am a Life member..so no choice!! Sincerely hope a new regime can take over and save the Club from ignominy.................looking forward to the AGM..should be lively! We renewed, but seriously considered not doing so. I didn’t find it great place to go to. You’ll find a seat but not many amenities. On a different note what is the Merchant Taylors ground like please?
We are top of the League.

Probably right. They only open half the ground, depending on what side of the square the pitch is being played on. If its a North-side pitch, its Grandstand & Compton.... if its South-side pitch, its Mound & Edrich. Just depends if AI knows what the groundsman knows? What's the deal with which stands are open for CC games at Lord's?
Gonna arrange to meet up with a few people.
AI gives me:

Warner was open to non members yesterday. Nice spot.Probably right. They only open half the ground, depending on what side of the square the pitch is being played on. Pavilion, Allen & Warner stand tend to be open for members regardless of what side the game is on.
Grim.Heading for defeat at home to Durham.
Trailing by 137, after finally bowling them out for 567, and already 27-2.
Now hammered by Surrey.Hammered by Derbyshire.
(Div 2)
No surprise mate.Very quiet in here, I wonder why
It was a promising first 5 balls. Now hammered by Surrey.

It was a good day, despite the batting collapse. Seemed that Durham hit every gap, while Middlesex picked every fielder. Good crowd I thought too.Great to have them back playing T20 at Old Deer Park in Richmond but Lees 100 and early wickets meant a heavy defeat
It’s in Surrey. We need a proper out ground in Middlesex.Great to have them back playing T20 at Old Deer Park in Richmond but Lees 100 and early wickets meant a heavy defeat
