To right WP Middx have gone some 15 years No need to rub anybodies nose in it
We won it well beating the favourites in the semi and 2nd favourites in the final

let us just get practised in being supporters of the Champions for the big one next May:):)

From this Surrey CCC member, congratulations to Middlesex.

They have come a long way from the county who took around four years to even bowl their first maiden over in T20; indeed their approach has emphasised that this form of the game is not all about smashing the ball to all parts, indeed it is finely balanced between bat and ball. They have taken the game to new heights.

Congratulations on long overdue success and I look forward to revenge next season.

I echo these sentiments and can't put it better.

Although I don't think we'll get revenge for sometime.

Far too much deadwood to get rid of at our end going to take a couple of seasons at least.

Never thought we'd win anything again so well done, lads! Looks like the threat of a vote of confidence did the trick. Looks like Middx may be clocking up some serious airmiles over the next few months.

Ramps isn't deadwood, hes just showing why he could never cut for England. His mind is clearly on the 100 hundreds and hes letting the pressure get to him.

His captaincy tho it must be said is awful.

Well done to Middlestump. Was an exciting game, no doubt. Looks like the Champions League place is in jeopardy, though, as the BCCI and the ECB are arguing again. Apparently the ECB aren't impressed that the BCCI want half the cash.

Interesting game against Northants over the last couple of days.

Middx made 251-9 with Shaun Udal getting a nasty injury.
Northants were then bowled out for 239 which gave Middx a lead of 12, that was then extended by 47 but that was for the loss of 6 wickets. Simpson and Berg have now put on a partnership of 73 to give them a lead of 132.

They need a complete overhaul in the winter, they're proper sh*te.

They brought a load of youngsters in for this game and some of them did very well.

I think I reead in the Chronicle that they have a large amount of money to spend on a 'top player for next season.

They need more than 1 player. Half the backup players aren't good enough, but saying that, half the first teamers aren't either.

Udal needs to go as captain.

Middx have rarely been bothered about winning things. The powers that be at the club seem happy to be the custodians of Lords rather than worrying about their own team.

Sorry they are not custodians of Lords the Mcc are Middx just pay rent.

As such they are the poor relations compared say with Slurry who gain income from the Oval which Middx don't from Lords

Just got battered by ten wickets by Kent at Uxbridge, despite a ton in each innings from Dexter.

I prefer those young ladies that produce a bit of movement off the seam but have no time at all for reverse swingers
