Epic, changed days, and very very exciting ??

[PGH_Bee]

The future. Excellent signing, I'm so excited about the future of this team

[She Wore She Wore]

Fanbloodyfantastic...welcome to the best club in the world Mikkel. Well done to Phil Giles and Matthew

[TW3Bee]

Great signing, but wtf is he wearing?

[BFC1997]

Why did Sampdoria not want to keep him? Be interested to know the perspective of anyone that follows Italian football.

[GP200]

………….more good news…………..

[Ghost]

On the one hand I’m thinking we are now in a place to sign players like this and on the other hand WTAF ? yooou reds!

………..he wanted to play for a big club going places………….

[grepo]

So pleased to see this completed at last. Unbelievable signing, well done to all those involved.

[Beelieve!]

Take a bow PG

[BuzzingBee95]

Am I the only one who has watched the reveal video and thinks his first expression is that of a lost child at Thorpe Park. ?. Looks terrified! No disrespect meant

[rebus]

Pure sex.

[aslan]

They got him in the third kit too! Double whammy

[Cham]

We just got a player rated at 50 mil last summer for 12 mil. Incredible business

The tweets from Sampdoria during the negotiations suggested that they would find the cash very welcome.

Looks ice cool to me.

Sampdoria want funds to get a few players in.. I wonder if we paid more upfront initially to get the overall cost down

[Bee in Leeds]

Didn’t see this coming

I think there were 16 million reasons (approximately).

No, I didn’t get that at all. I think he looks pretty cool and calm actually and reminds me of a young Lasse Vibe. ??‍

That doesn’t seem a lot for a good top flight player of his age, but maybe the market is different in Italy.

[DanishPlastic]

I'm just so happy for Mikkel, for our beautiful Bees, and for the danish national team. This is an amazing signing and another sign of how amazing this team is run and that players know it.

Can't wait to watch him. And WOW what a lovely third kit.

[Muzo]

I am in awe of Phil Giles, Thomas Frank and Matthew Benham. Thank you for signing the dream player ? What a club to support.
Acquiring Damsgaard, KLP and Hickey for the equivalent price of Kalvin Phillips or Richarlison will hopefully seem like a high-way robbery in a couple of years.

[Newport Pagnell Bee]

Didn’t see this coming

A number on here said it would never happen. No user names but they know who they are.

[MadsMadsMads]

WHAT.A.SIGNING!

Timing dear boy. Timing.

[Sianist]

Sampdoria is in acute money need, and Damsgaard is quite frankly a poor fit to how Sampdoria plays

Nice smile. At least he looked happy to be here?

[MadsMadsMads]

Remember the PG out brigade just a couple of months ago? Un.real.

[N5022N122]

Welcome Mikke D. Relax, strive and thrive.

Er…….No.

[HerefordB]

Good boy. You know it makes sense. Stellar!

[Ashford Bees]

We paid the same price for a world class player as Putney paid for a player that can’t get in West Ham’s starting 11 ???

[RAF_Patto]

Er…….No.

Lots on Twitter & Facebook, even before the window officially opened ?

[MadsMadsMads]

Er…….No.

Mostly people on Facebook and Twitter...probably very few though. Bonkers.

[Inappropriate Smilies Bee]

Great signing, but wtf is he wearing?

Looks like Graham Bensteads old shirt.

Welcome to the club Mikkel.

or even a couple of months ....

[Holysmit]

Great signing, but wtf is he wearing?

Im going to buy it as I think i can look like Mr Blooby in it

[StreathamBee]

Magic signing

How long does international clearance usually take?

[Raise The Roof]

Also don’t wish to be disrespectful. Wonderful, wonderful signings, but the reveal videos have all been pants. Slight bit of variety in this one.

[bexleybee]

More Danish fweeeeeends ??

[MadsMadsMads]

Seen as cm or as a #10. I guess that settles it. Wissa and KLP will fight for the left wing spot.

“We think Mikkel can play as one of our ‘eights’ in a 4-3-3 system or as a ‘ten’. He can also play on the wing. We will use him in the way we think we can get the best out of his offensive abilities. Importantly, he is a player that will fit into our dressing room. He is a great character, he wants to work hard, he wants to work for the team, and he wants to develop.” TF

[Shazknee]

Never thought it would go through, he’s better than Eriksen imho.

[Barry Paul]

My Genoa supporting friend said sampdoria wouldn’t manage to start the season without cash input. He described Damsgaard fee as a start but not enough

[NIWNDK]

His nickname in Denmark is "Damsinio" and is potentiel a better sign than Christian Eriksen.

[Hippobee]

Even on front page of BBC Sports website now as 'breaking news'. BFC are really the trendsetters, these days. Thank you to all involved for making this and signings like it possible. Would never have believed it.
