Maybe we can loan them Hayes, Toumani and Ben Nugent for a month as we've no room on the bench for them at the moment. Need to keep our fringe players fit and a struggling, local club like Millwall could be ideal. lol

Not the best place to be getting match practice at the moment,the natives are growling and Lomas will be lucky to last till September.

It was tongue in cheek mate, 'Wall fans really didn't want Lomas and amazed unless they have a couple of massive wins quick that's likely to change now. I did feel sorry for him on Saturday basically blaming the throw in awarded the wrong way for them losing 3-0. Until that happened apparently there'd only be one team looked like winning it.

No development squad games arranged so a friendly has been arranged to give others game time. To keep a squad of 20 plus fit and match ready, they need to be playing at least once a week.

Thanks. you can all judge me for not paying attention to the fixture list, I hadn't actually realised we had a gap now.

Sorry mate, I was being silly and making the point that Millwall would be interested in strengthening their Championship team with our fringe players. I won't be sarcastic or ironic for a short while.

I did get it.;)This game is needed,and think we will be looking to get more out of the Jpt this season despite the 6 player rule as well as the league cup.

I'd be inclined to play any fringe players in these games and see how far we get. FA cup is different and always will be, head says we'd be well out of it early as long as we're not embarrassed but heart says wouldn't it be great to get another away day at somewhere like Arsenal and to give it a real good go as long as it doesn't distract from FA cup.
MB has made sure it's not all about the money anymore so we don't have to pray for a plum draw but we do need every player who will be needed this season to be playing competitive football so hence why progressing in JPT and Carling One cup could benefit the club all round.
