I think a few years ago they played some Spring Training games at The Oval.
It would be nice if, like the NFL they could play some regular season games over here, after all they play over 160 games each so I'm sure something could be arranged.

There has been wishes over recent years but nothing came of it. Would have to be Oval or similar I suppose

Looking at Miamis new ball park,like all of them. Some grounds get demolished even tho they appear to be still state of the art. This new one tho built on the old Orange Bowl and that was old.

What is even more galling is that Omar Vizquel,one of my heroes from the 1997 side plays for Blue Jays and played his part,think he should have taken pity

It was opening day at Tropicana Field today, plenty of Yankee fans in the Tampa area this morning. The local media is really hyping up the Rays this season as the support isn't good as they are situated in St Petersburg and fans want to get the team moved to down town Tampa

Another come from behind win for the Jays, but i'm not optomistic for the sweep as they are sending a rookie pitcher to the mound for today's game. Nice to see that the opening home game against Boston is sold out.

Last year the Jays finished 82-82. Anything less than 90-72 this year will be considered a failure.

So the Jays bring in a closer Santos from Chicago to solve the problems of last season. So far he is 0-2 and last night was a disaster. I sure hope he sorts it out soon.

Mori, realistically what would be a good season for the Indians? And why in earth did you choose a team in Ohio, don't they have the worst sporting record with their MLB/NBA and NFL teams !?!

Fell in love with the gutsy '97 team,can't give a reason after that. But it's been generally downhill since. The aim is to win the division at best or even get a wild card. Also have a soft spot for the Braves but not same since Bobby Cox retired. The World Series in '97 was special and they were up against the new much padded Marlins. They al,n beat the Yankees and Orioles in the play offs. Was an exhausting few weeks with a Brentford like ending. Great sport with so many great characters,love it.

I agree, just wonder what life would be like if any of the sports teams I have chosen to follow were successful !!
