Mark Dennis got a mention tonight, if he hadn't had such a short fuse he'd have won a shed load of England caps as he was a far better left back than Kenny Sansom.

Kenny Sansom appeared in a PFA Team of the Year on 11 occasions, which is more than any other player.

Ian Wright giving zero f*cks was funny. Revelled in describing the punch which he landed on Steve Bruce, explained the best technique he was taught for head butting and, how he thought Cantona was a hero for his king-fu kick lol

Seems like the BBC wasn’t able to show the keegan “I would love it” rant as well as the cantona kick.

Couldn't quite work out how Shearer thought the Blackburn Rovers fight in Moscow qualified for inclusion in a Premier League bizarre moments list.

Good for Wrightie to confirm what everyone may have suspected about his intelligence too

Didn't know whether I would enjoy it, I haven't really got into this PL blowing their own trumpet retros. However thoroughly enjoyed it! Some great tales, especially those mentioned above. Almost a comedy classic for football fans!

He was very highly rated by his peers in the England team, a very good player in his day and ahead of his time for a left back. He would slot effortlessly into today's game. Such a shame he was a lazy overweight lump by the time he turned out (briefly) for us but to be fair he had his demons by then..

It’s probably because Wright played with him and Shearer against him many times but Keown a.k.a “the rash” often gets mentioned as being the most irritating, uncompromising and horrible person to play against. He’s definitely a ‘quirky‘ character and I can imagine he was a right pain in the arse to play against. Apparently even Bergkamp hated playIng against him in training. Never gets mentioned amongst some of the higher profile English centre backs we’ve had over the years who were more talented technically but you wonder if he was the sort of guy that should have been picked more in tournaments where it’s not always the best teams that win.

Brilliant entertainment, loving it. Ian Wright is brilliant, he is just so full of passion and life. Not sure I get the comments above about him showing his intelligence, I assume that is a dig at him. GL is also very intelligent and has a very dry wit that lends itself well to his presenting job but AS does struggle to keep the flow going, they should put Martin Allen on instead and they would have the dream team.

Excellent banter and conversations between all 3.
Loved the story from Ian Wright after getting a red card at West Ham and Lineker losing his bowels playing for England.

Match of their day is excellent too. I hope the BBC can keep it up.

I think GL is an excellent presenter, and often asks the question/makes the points that I want to hear

I like Wrightys passion but felt he was a bit of a caricature of himself in this. Listen to Desert Island Discs if you get a chance, quite moving.

Sheared, a million men could do as good a job as him. He isn't terrible, but just meh.

I think it was brilliant , I wouldnt necessarily say the best but I would say it was the one the most where I can imagine anyone watching it was totally taken by suprise

EVen that amazing Di Canio West Ham volley you could see what he was going to do, but the MVB one was just not even in anyones thought process as it seemed so wide

First time I've watched in about 5 years......
Don't really care if we only get 5 mins at the end.
Just want to milk every bit of what's happening to MY club, and see us for the FIRST time on a 'top division' episode of this show.
