Nice piece in today’s Observer about the Mousehole AFC (Tiny Mousehole AFC rises up football leagues but potholes are a problem). Looks a lovely spot for a pre-season visit

The campsite is Mousehole’s main source of revenue, and without improvements to its infrastructure, the ability to fund future promotions could be at risk.
“Other clubs have sponsors or sugar daddies to pay the bills. Well, our campsite is our sugar daddy,”
Would be nice to get a PSF arranged down there.Chatting with my mate this morning who is the kit man for Mousehole AFC, he told me that the club’s manager, Jake Ash, is grandson to former Brentford striker Billy Dare, who played for us 1948–1955, and was inducted into our Hall of Fame last November.
Send the B team thereWould be nice to get a PSF arranged down there.
I raised the suggestion back in May last year, but it didn’t get anywhere despite massive support for the idea (your comment makes it three people now I think!).Would be nice to get a PSF arranged down there.
It would be nice if we could get it up to double figuresI raised the suggestion back in May last year, but it didn’t get anywhere despite massive support for the idea (your comment makes it three people now I think!).
I nodded along quietly to your suggestion but didn’t say anything ?I raised the suggestion back in May last year, but it didn’t get anywhere despite massive support for the idea (your comment makes it three people now I think!).
All’s fair in love and football!Son upset Father tonight as Oscar Massey (Mousehole) scored as they beat Helston Athletic 4-0, whose Director of Football is his Father Stephen Massey.
My dad was the groundsman at Helston for years.Son upset Father tonight as Oscar Massey (Mousehole) scored as they beat Helston Athletic 4-0, whose Director of Football is his Father Stephen Massey.
Can concentrate on gaining promotion.Sadly for Seagulls fans, the Mouse didn’t roar. So it is visitors St Austell who go on to face Falmouth Town in the Final.
Brixham is a very friendly cub. Went there whilst on holiday a couple of seasons ago when they beat Shepton Mallet worth a visit and Brixham itself is lovelyEvery season I always like taking the FA Cup trail starting at Mousehole AFC, now its on to Brixham in the next round.
Post to be read out loud in a David Brent voice - excellent!Brixham is a very friendly cub. Went there whilst on holiday a couple of seasons ago when they beat Shepton Mallet worth a visit and Brixham itself is lovely

Good news is that the farm track which led to Mousehole’s Trungle Parc ground has now been laid with tarmac, due to opened by Prince William sometime soon. This will make Brentford’s pre-season visit that much easier next summer.
I'll be eagerly waiting of press reports that "Prince William turned to the New Road and said N E W ROAD New Road"![]()
BBC News - Prince William To Visit Mousehole AFC's New Road
The Prince of Wales helped set up a consortium of businesses to fund the new access roadwww.bbc.co.uk
New Road Mousehole AFC! - finished it for you.I'll be eagerly waiting of press reports that "Prince William turned to the New Road and said N E W ROAD New Road"
To correct my myself, the new road is additional to the track rather than an improvement to the existing track. As my friend there says, “the pothole experience is still available”.Good news is that the farm track which led to Mousehole’s Trungle Parc ground has now been laid with tarmac, due to opened by Prince William sometime soon.
