Mr Angry

Season ticket holder in Ealing Road.
Me and my fellow bees usually stand within ear shot of a chap affectionately now known as' Mr Angry'.

Can ofen be heard shouting ''get up his areshole'' or ''hit him''.
Usually spotted in a beige jacket.

The man is a legend and if anyone knows if he is one here please point him out so i can tip my cap to him.

He is on here, but I won't say who he posts under, a nice fella, but when he's at football, he gets very involved :D

As I said, a nice guy, go to away games with them now and then, darlo in the championship year was one game, story in the book :D

Mr Angry

Mr Angry

Known him for over 30 years, will normally arrive into an away town earlier than most. Great guy

Mr Angry

Know him well good supporter old school as they say we could do with 5000 like him every week at GP.

Mr Angry

Is he the same as the Theatre of Hate?

Which part of ER does he stand?

Mr Angry

Yes I think he is Theatre of Hate. I've seen him go well over the top at games to be honest (and sometimes at our players) and he's not top of my list of people to stand near, but he undoubtebly loves the club and is a loyal supporter.

:imwith:

Sums it up nicely. :sorted:

Mr Angry

i have it on great authority that he trys to be mild mannered, but the love of the bees and his will to win shows that he could be a future bees manager!!!

Mr Angry

I believe he was fairly vocal in letting a recent keeper know what he thought of him....

Mr Angry

for a dreadfull moment then i thought he had popped his clogs, hope not, griffin park would be to quite, do you also know he leaves for sat home games at 8am, takes 2.5hrs, !!!

Mr Angry

a character, and boy does GP need them. Been involved in ridiculous situations at games I have seen, but all in the love of BFC.

dam it for a moment then i though the jacket was finally mine

Mr Angry

He is the" BEES KNEES".. but not quite as good looking as his hero Greg Dyke.

Mr Angry

Was he the guy walking up and down the barricade between the pitch and the Stand at Yeovil a couple of weeks back??

Mr Angry

Anyone who went to Darlo knows who the jacket will go to when Mr Angry finally shuffles off to row with St Peter (heaven help help it if he's a QPha supporter!)

Mr Angry

Stewards have showen him the tradesman entrance at many away ground, with his partner in crime (happy meal)... both only happy when assisting stewards

Mr Angry

my first memory of "mr angry" was at shrewsbury away in our league 2 championship season we had smashed them 3-1 and after the final whisle celebrations walked outside and there minibus was parked outside the away end, mr angry and jacket jumping up and down celebrating by the bus, in the mean time some proper genuine shrewsbury fan walks up to him and says "fair play mate you were brilliant today" mr angry then replys at the top of his voice "F*** OFF YOU WELSH DRAGON C***"........top bloke and great entertainment

......................................sounds absolutely charming:rolleyes:, certainly the sort of 'entertainment' I for one could do without - he's not (related to) Richard Keys or Andy Gray, by any chance??..............................

Mr Angry

Great comment from him at one of the recent Exeter games, when AS wasn't showing enough enthusiasm "If I was where Scott is, I'd be jumping up and down and ranting at the players" (ie his normal way of watching a game)

Think it might be wise to have defibrilators handy in case it gets too much for his blood pressure

Mr Angry

For some reason he has always reminded me slightly of Chewbacca from the StarWars films

rofl

I was there! Can you imagine going to games with him?

Nothing unusual there then!

He isn't that good looking :banghead:

I reckon he is more like a cross between 'catweezel' and 'buster blood vessel'

Strange you should say that as I've always thought he resembled the gorilla type thing in the Banana Splits Show. As for being a 'legend' - I wouldn't want to parade him as a role model.

Mr Angry

The other one with him that makes me laugh is Ted. He's the younger looking one with the 'pretty' earring. He's generally swaying during the first half from having enjoyed the sights of the pubs in Brentford prior to kick off, so his quietness is more than made up for!
I believe he is going to inherit the sacred beige jacket when he does finally depart this mortal plain!

Mr Angry

..........................................Craig?????........................

A nice fella. A 'postie' too :sorted:

Mr Angry

Not Craig. The younger one! He looks like a mini me of Craig. Always wearing a dark blue jacket and a locoste polo shirt.

Mr Angry

the ones who make me laugh are the 2 slightly overweight guys who wear the matching jackets ive heard their names are dave and tom not sure who is who though as they both look the same

The piemen.

Mr Angry

thank you for all the kind words fellas, i admit to being mr angry, those that do not know me may think i am over the top and i admit that i can be a pratt, i could write a book on my memorys of following the bees over 40yrs, but we are all the same in that we want a team that gives as a return for our continued support, both home and away.
as regards the tanman jacket that has already been passed onto one lucky lad, who passed a x factor style audtion!!!
as regards my old mate craig, he is in the process of writing a book regarding grounds he has been chucked out of, morcambe away in league 2 was a result of eating a burger over the white line!!
feel free to buy me a drink anytime boys, im not all that bad!!

We can all be pratts sometimes.

Can't believe the jacket has gone! A real bad news week for Brentford supporters. :(

Mr Angry

the jacket has not gone, i still have it for a few seasons yet, but the young pretender keeps eying it up, those of you that do not know the history of the jacket, in our league 2 promotion i wore it to 3/4 of the games and found that when i did not have it on we lost or drew, bit like people and lucky pants!!

The poor OLD fellas are just trying to be young again...... :shake:

As for the 1970's 'tanman' jacket :yuck: I wouldn't want to contmeplate where that has been :drinker:

Still, they're a great laugh away from home, Darlo will be a memory not to forget. It's in the SS & CB book by 'moi'. :sorted:

Don't forget about Walter Mitty...he's been to ALL home and away games for the past 20 odd years and has a story to tell about each one...although not necessarily always true...it's funny just to hear him tell people the type of thing even Pinocchio would be embarrassed to make up!

Mr Angry

He is an absolute pleasure to go to games with - if a few more fans showed a fraction of Tanman's passion, we'd be a force to be reckoned with !!

Mr Angry

Speaking of characters, remember New Road circa late 70s/early 80s? When you got through the turnstiles the steps were directly in front of you up to the terrace? There was a bald guy with glasses who used to stand just inside there on the right with the New Road Choir. He used to shout 'Come On You Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.............. (holding the 'e' for ages until his breath ran out)...........s. Anyone remember him? Wonder if he's still around? lol

the best story of them all was that after the brighton away game this season in a bar he said that he had not been sick in 10 years, i won't say what happened in the travelodge later that night

Mr Angry

Fair play Thatcham. Long may your support of the team continue

Mr Angry

I got on his nerves at the weekend, I kept getting up and making him stand up before the end of each half and getting in lqte for the start of both of them so that I could get the book selling going, the last one with 90 minutes up was met with a "You are going to miss the winning goal!" but was a polite way of telling me to eff off and stop interfering with his enjoyment of the day. I know that as I've been there many times when the board goes up and someone tries to get passed you.
Apology to Mr Angry.
