Pleased to see from Mansfield site that the o/g has not been registered as such but credited to the Stags' player.

I'm liking what I saw. Shakes and Elder's pace gave us a different outlet than we have had for a fair while. The boy has a bit of attitude which is no bad thing and I just hope he carries on where he left off in front of the GP faithful.

It shows confidence in one's ability though, do you see it at the time or just from the TV?

I thought it was Parkes at the time, not sure he was visible on TV pic

Last Tuesday four of our players wore those white ankle straps, I didn't have a fecking clue who was who.

It was def Parkes on his own by the penalty spot as the ball went past the keeper. Thoght as i as watching the replay for the 10th time Nat should have passed but then changed my mind as i realized as prev said it shows how much confidence he has to take on the keeper. A great start to a great run in the team

WEB next match look for the numbers on the players back its more helpful to identify them rather than looking at their ankles

he (Jordan Parkes) was visible on the TV pics, maybe the extreme smells talked about in another thread were affecting NB's eyesight.

Either way, it was a top draw finish:sorted:

What if they are running away from your view, or if it's muddy? It's not as easy as you think. :fishing:

can we leave all this talk about looking at their shorts for the likes of Mads and YBA......jeezee :fishing:

If they are running away - then wouldn't the number be viewable on the back of the shirt though......:D ;)

Anyway :backtotopic: great finish by Elder though....:sorted:

How about a song for Nathan:
To be sung to the tune of Waltzing Maltilda

Scoring Nat Eleder, scoring Nat Elder
Who'll score more goals than Nat Elder the Bee
And he ran and jumped and headed in another one
Who'll score more goals than Nat Elder the Beeeeeeee.

Exactly like you, I had no idea Parkes was there til I saw it on the Championship (or whatever it's called) on Sunday morning! It seemed Elder had so long to think about it I was just praying... He took it really well though, and I was impressed with his attitude all round. If he plays with that commitment all the time he'll do OK.

THought the ref was gonna book him for the celebration though...

Players made him feel welcome
Players are a great bunch
He has a lot to learn, he is looking forward to next season.
Him and AS have had good chats
He moved to BFC because of AS.
He lacked confidence at Brighton.
There is a belief they the team can get into the play offs, he loved the confidence at the club.

Thats some bits from the interview.

He is pleased to be living back in London as he thinks this will be better for him and very happy to be playing for BFC. I got the feeling he wasn't very happy at Brighton and didn't fit in down there
