Why is there all this negative talk. you can't expect us to go the whole season unbeaten. instead of consitently criticising, support and get behind the reds

I'm one of the positive ones, and even I'm worried that we won't go even part of the season unbeaten. :)

I'm positive that we're now winless in 12 and just dangling above relegation. :sorted:

Fine if they put 100% in, can put with 4-0 defeats if they give it everything, but this current shower are a disgrace, fact

It needs very firm management to turn it round, there is an underlying problem somewhere and if aint sorted quick we`re doomed to the drop.

I think we should give LR more time before writing him and his team off. IMO they have lacked competitiveness in a lot of the matches, but they have also shown signs of playing some very attractive football. I think we need to earn the right to play football by being more physical and competitive.

At the end of MA's reign people were crying for passing football. We can't expect the new manager to build a team and have that team functioning perfectly straight away. If we give them time things should improve. Many of the players have not played enough to have proper match sharpness, and the whole team will play better when we have consistency in the line-up.

That works out great, because there ain't going to be a replacement so he's got time to figure things out. We're broke, this is the squad, we have to hope that they individually and collectively get their acts together.

Hard not to worry a bit, though.

Im fully behind the team 100%, behind Leroy and the board and to be fair, we're stuck with what we've got. But when you have players that aren't even trying after things don't go their way, then this is something I can't stomach. For fans to travel the full 160 miles to Rotherham and not even get noticed by a few underperforming players at the end is disgraceful. My hat goes off to the fans who are considering Carlisle in December, but more performances on the field after the whistle has gone like what happened in Rotherham, well the players are just asking for true bees fans to turn against them. Leroy has to address this, or my view on him will certainly go down.

im with billy ocean on this one......when the going gets tough etc.I am going to support the team and Leroy all the way and confident we will turn this round .....the players that have come back need a few games to get back to full match fitness ,then i am sure we have a team good enough to stay up this season

No it doesn't and I agree with most of the posts about the team performance and attitude.............but on the other hand, we are 6 points away from a play off place.:)

This is a very ordinary league where each team could beat one another (bit like last season really IMHO).

They could all do themselves a favour with the fans by acknowledging the supporters at the end of games - their attitude compared to the past few seasons is poor.:nono:

There is always going to be negativity when you continue to lose or draw games. We have slipped from the top 5 to bottom 6 in a little more than a month. Confidence is low and that appears to include the manager also. There is little he has in the squad that can change the team dramatically, so from somewhere a win in is needed. Against Gillingham I would maybe try a 4-3-3 formation with Mousinho sitting and allowing Pinault to get further forward where his potential passing attributes will be more useful. I would also start with Tomlin, Moore & Kuffour as a front 3, and if possible get rid of Winjhard from the wage bill early, we just do not have the time to get someone of his age match fit. :fishing:

negativity

From what I saw on Saturday he is match-fit, he certainly wasn't puffing at the end.

Unfortunately he looked incredibly poor.

I was trying to be kind to him. We now have 3 forwards taking up much wasted space on the wage bill, 2 have to go and obviously Winjhard & Fitzgerald would be the 1st choice to go now I believe. Winjhard must surely be the easiest option as he is only on 3 month contract, surely they would have an early release clause too. :fishing:

too bee honest i dont think there is as much negativity on here, as i thought there would be..
:imwith:

Likewise.

It always annoys be a bit when people come here and say "don't be negative" as well. For me - this is a place to discuss the club, good, bad, ugly, Andrew Finch etc. Some of that's always going to be negative.

But that doesn't mean that when we're at a game we don't support the team etc. Anyway, if the thread title says it's gonna be a moan, just don't read it...

In today`s Chronny LR effectively echoes these sentiments, so to answer the original question on this thread it would seem that if fans are negative about the team currently then at least the manager seems to be in full agreement.

Mentions in particular Chesterfield and Rotherham aways as completely unacceptable etc. Doesnt mention any names but i`m sure most of us know which players he`s talking about.

Whether LR can turn it around remains to be seen, but agree with his post-match comments/analysis virtually every time I read them. At least he tells it how it is and doesnt try to defend the team when they dont deserve it
