Neil Clement

Played eight games on loan in 99/00. 7 starts, 1 as sub, no goals. He retired in 2010, at age 31, due to a knee injury.

Someone somewhere said he's been taking helicopter lessons! The Baggies offered him a coaching spot, but he didn't stick with it for longer than about half a season. He wasn't far off being granted a testimonial either, but he turned it down as well.

I thought he was an excellent player up untill his no show in that night game.Still went on to bigger and better times

came from and went back to you mean. Not quite sure why he was so poor for us but it was only a few games of his career and maybe just didn't settle. Everybody has bad spells.

He came to us on loan from Chelsea during Noades era and thought he played well for the first few games,Not sure if he played many games for Chelsea but he ended up playing for west brom for most of his career and was on the verge of an England call if l remember correctly.

He was hyped as a wonderful prospect who was on loan with a view to an expensive permanent transfer which his performances soon put the kybosh on

he was injured, Noades forced him to play..

Hmmm. Not sure. For that report suggests that he wasn't a mere customer of this drug den, but instead was running the joint (no pun intended).

Meanwhile, we must assume the term "Doobiez" doesn't translate into the Spanish! :D
