New Manager: A Poll!

Right adding the names again now.

Mods - please do not remove entries - add them by all means :D

New Manager: A Poll!

Rob Lee alongside experienced coach would be my preference. Won't happen though. :D

New Manager: A Poll!

Is Teddy Sheringham up there as a joke?

New Manager: A Poll!

:D None of the above, Alan Curbishley for me as he has said he wants a new challenge and BFC can certainly give him one:eek: ....and a challenge :lol

New Manager: A Poll!

I beleive Richard Cadette is looking for a new managerial challange after being released by Tooting. He was a great servant to the club so must be worthy of a vote

New Manager: A Poll!

Alan D for me as he was one of my alltime favorite players to watch as a child and he has done very very well with Hampton and Richmond season just gone.

New Manager: A Poll!

Is there a non of the above option?

New Manager: A Poll!

Richard Cadette and Keith Jones would be good fun!

New Manager: A Poll!

Mick McCarthy?

I am sure he will leave his new west ham contract, at what roughtly £20k a week aleast to manage us, wouldnt mind him up front for a bbit thought

New Manager: A Poll!

Chris Wilder would be an excellent choice. Has done wonders with Halifax on absolutely zilch money.

Also a local lad I believe????

New Manager: A Poll!

Inglethorpe/Williams or Inglethorpe/Perryman would've been my choices. Young manager with experienced coach/director of football. Only thing that comes into itis the money/cost.

But with the way another thread is going ......it looks like Rosenior......

Playing record indicates that he started as junior at Southampton and is from Wortley. Wherever that is. Lots of experience at our level as a player.

Management record shows that he has certainly turned Halifax round in the last year or so. :sorted:

Why? Dear God why?

Unless you're related to the bloke or have already nipped down the bookies and put money on him landing the job, why for fecks sake would you want this mug to manage BFC?

What did he manage to accomplish last season with comparatively vast resources and a million pound rated striker?

Yeah, you got it. Relegation.

So what would he achieve at a club that's completely skint and a striker you wouldn't swap for a packet of Mini Cheddars?

Yeah, you got it. Relegation.

:nono: to Danny Wilson. Not only because I think he's sh*t, because he's proven he's sh*t.

Halifax had a great season at home by only losing 1 game at the Shay all season.

I would happily see him in control, spoke well and the little bits I saw of them seemed to suggest a bit of football being played.

Been down that road already thanks.
I'm amazed he's got 17 votes so far to be honest.

New Manager: A Poll!

Is Inglethorpe still available then, thought he had turned down MK Dons for Spurs U-19's :fishing:

Pointless Thread... :nono:

New Manager: A Poll!

Gazza

1 year contract, GP would be rocking for a while :sorted:

Pay structure linked to % of increase on the gate

No, on second thoughts lets think small and stay small

But isn't that what you have been advocating, with your suggestions of conference level managers.
Rob Lee is not Gazza, but at least a well known name from recent premiership history. He alongside an experienced coach I think could be a decent move.
I mentioned Keith Peacock earlier as a possibility, although I'm sure Lee would have some good contacts. Especially for loan purposes. :fishing:

Great strategy given his previous attempts - I would give him five weeks. You would like to employ an alcoholic wife beater with tourettes. :D

It's not thinking small - it's thinking sensible.

Because wilson has been there before, fans know him and more importantly players know him and man we need some good new players at the moment.

He managed at a higher level and i think he'll do a 10X better job than all those crap nobodies from lower leagues

in my mind only 4 options:

Lewington

Wilson

Holloway

Sheringham

no, he wants to manage

Why did he sign another year at West Ham then, surely if he wanted to manage he should just retire as a player and appply for jobs.
