New Manager Poll

Quite some going when you consider they once had Bobby Gould . Anyway. Horses for courses and all that. He was brilliant at Brentford and would be again :sorted:.

However, changing the subject a little. Has anyone else noticed that Nicky Forster seems to have signed several dozen players this week? Strange behaviour for a man who's only in charge on a daily basis :suspect:.

Maybe the 3 players were earmarked to come in prior to Scott leaving? I would also suggest that Forster is part of the wider management team so whilst his opinion is important, he is not the only individual making this decision. The club has to run no matter who is in charge of team affairs so decisions are made on players whatever. Its obviously short term and cannot go on for ever, but will buy us time expecially if the results are good.

New Manager Poll

Havent heard that from the missus for years.................
I suppose it's only "that reminds me, the ceiling needs repainting" now!

New Manager Poll

As I have said before when Andy first went it had to Johnson then listening to him on tv I began doubting with Nicky's style of football yes assistant to Johnson as Nicky has no experience.
However time passes and I would now go for Nicky.
For example Nicky favours passing football and Johnson hoof ball so they don't get on.
Lack of experience as Manager hmm what experience did Scott have, what experience did Ernie How have and what experience did the physio Nigel Adkins have at S****horpe
different scenario I know but what experience did Neil Lennon have at Celtic.
Well spelt out by a previous posters is that experience dose not matter also all experienced managers are also failed managers.

PS I like Allen it was fun when he was here but we did not get promotion (Do not quote Selling DJ, he was advised to sign someone from Wealdstone called Beckford but went for Willock)
The same scenario cannot be returned and of course never go back- Keegan at Newcastle

100 up for Chris Hughton in the voting, well played sir.

Maddog is gaining on Gary Johnson at a rate of one vote per day. :angel2:

does the Alternative Vote (AV) system apply? if so, the 11 Dennis Wise voters should recast their votes now please yes yes? ;)

New Manager Poll

I think a new poll is needed.

New Manager Poll

Bet he doesn't answer this one.

Mr abee sir, I've just watched the interview with that nice Mr Mills who says there are about 100 CV's to filter through. Out of interest, could you please tell us if one of those CV's is signed by a Mr. M. Allen? Hugs .

New Manager Poll

Dave Allen? Is he not dead?

M. Allen, M. M. Hello? However, thank you for alerting me to a possible abee wisecrack. Mr abee sir, I am referring of course to Martin Allen, not seventies legend Micky .

Terrible news by the way jlove . R.I.P. Dave :drinker: .

New Manager Poll

Just running through, in my mind, the Allens who could have completed a CV... stopped when I got to D!

New Manager Poll

All depends if you want to stay at this level......think about it...YOU REDS......

Is that a post in favour or against ?
I am ruling Johnson out, but he did get Bristol City up didn't he ?

New Manager Poll

how many of last nights starting eleven are on contracts with more than 18 months left?
How many up for renewal this season and how many next?

Can anybody name them with length of remaining contract alongside?

I heard that Beckfords demands ruled him out as a non starter

New Manager Poll

Now that we are a few weeks on from when the poll was started, and people have had a better chance to find out more about the different possible contenders and, of course, think and talk about it, has anyone changed their minds from the original choices?

New Manager Poll

Yeah it's probably time for a new poll. Can someone sensible start one
