New Posts

What governs which threads appear in the 'New Posts' list in the column on the left of the screen?

Its a software setting.

Yours - as in GPG's - or mine? In other words, does the user have any control over which threads appear? Your post was top of my list - was it top of everyone's?

Last summer I was in Texas and following the Rangers baseball team. I posted a bit on the thread, but new posts never appeared in the 'New Posts' list.

This is not a criticism, by the way, as the GPG is great entertainment ... and free.

What do you mean 'free'? Banana? Les? Is this true? Since when did it become free and why are you still taking my direct debit?

Why didn't that post go to the top of the new posts list?

Sorry should have been clearer - we configure what forums go into the new posts widget on the home page and that wouldn't cover chit chat or other sports.

The new posts on the main menu covers all topics.

See what I mean? One could pay vast sums of money to get such wit and here we get it for free!

Thanks. That's straightforward enough.
