New ticket machine

Does it work ? Strolled into the ground on saturday to take up my season ticket seat & shock, horror, someone was sitting on it. I kindly asked the man if he would move so that i could sit on my allocated seat & he showed me his ticket which had the same seat number printed on it. Anyone else have the same problem or was i just as unlucky as Sunderland ?

Someone in front of me in the Paddock showed me their ticket and the ticket belonging to someone else and said they were the same row and seat number. He was right, but the other guy's ticket was for E Block, not the Paddock. You sure this wasn't the case with you?

The old fella said he wasn't going up to E Block and would have gone home if they'd made him go up there as it was too many stairs for him. Apparently he hadn't checked when he bought the ticket!

This happened to me at the Tranmere game....I had a ticket for a season ticket holders seat.

My seat had a season ticket sticker on it, but nobody else came along to sit in it. Maybe the system knew that the season ticket holder had bought tickets for somewhere else?

People in the Paddock complaining that Season Ticket seats had been sold twice. No doubt Mr Finch is on to it now and it wont happen ever again

Positive. I put my glasses on ! I have sent an e-mail to the club & am awaiting a response.

I presume you had actually paid for your seat on Saturday ? You don't need me to tell you that season tickets themselves are not valid for FA Cup games. If a season ticket holder's seat is not taken up then the Club would, quite rightly sell it to someone else.

Bought & paid for before the deadline according to the new customer charter.
