Managed to get tickets in the U18 ballot!
Does anyone know if kids need ID too for ticket collection and when they take payment for the game? E-mail says I need to collect the tickets from the ticket office, but I don’t know what my seat allocation is yet. Can’t see anything on the app or my account on the website either.

I am desperate for two tickets to Newcastle.
Some background:
I am a massive overseas fan and very active on twitter and social media... this is my first post on GPG despite lurking for two years now.
I live in the US. My brother and I saved up all year to attend a match (my third, his first). As soon as Wissa went to Newcastle, we determined we'd go to this match just so we can call him a rat and just to see his face live while the entire stadium booed him
My last two matches were in the East End with overseas ballots (had the misfourtune of sitting next to Pinnock's family last year after his own goal vs Palace... very uncomfortable). This year I wanted to do something different and figured I could get on the ticket exchange. I was hoping to get in the West or North End to sing Thiago's song after he bagged another Double.
I f***ed up. I don't have 40 TAPs. They introduced the A+ matches this year and thought that Newcastle would have been another Cat B match. I f***ed up completely. I cannot get on the exchange, I cannot buy a hospitality seat unless is a box which I cannot afford, and my friend who is a season ticket holder over there cannot find anyone who is trying to get rid of them.
I'm willing to post pictures and connect on social media so you can see I am a real fan. I listen to Ealing Road and Beesotted every week. I think Kevin Schade's first touch is horrendous. I think Kayode is a 100m man. I think Frank the Tank has been brilliant in his cameos, and Igor Thiago plays with more passion than anyone in the Prem and you'll never hear me say a bad word about him.
Long story short---- please. If anyone has two tickets to spare for Newcastle, the beers are on me.

Have you tried contacting the club? Tell them all this along with something to prove who you are and they might be able to help, but you may have to settle for East Stand.
I think given the Pissa transfer debacle most fans who can go will be going to this one…

Looking for one in the North Stand (preferably 125 or the blocks either side) for my boy. He’s a member with the required number of TAPs so if anyone is about to list one I’d appreciate it if they give me a shout first. Cheers

He can’t buy as he has only 30 TAPs and made the error of thinking he could buy as a member rather than through the international members’ ballot.
So his only legal option now would be for a friendly ST who can’t make the game to forward him their ticket.

The sole ticket in the West Stand is an exchange ticket, so can only pay the inflated price (£25 u18, £45 anyone else).
Green dots (just East Stand tickets, now) are general sale and usual price, for a Cat A game, of £35 for young adult in the East or West Stand

Your best bet would be to ask on here/fb if there’s a ticket late on which is unsold and not shifting and if you’re very lucky the ST who’s listed it might delist and forward to you for face value.
Or just shell out the extra £20.

Pretty sure I know the answer to this - but my father in law wants to come to this game, he is not a member (although happy to become one - albeit with 0 TAPs) but I can vouch he’s certainly not a Newcastle fan!
There’s no way to get him a ticket with my wife’s membership (she has 200+ TAPs) and transfer to him is there?
It’s been done to death on here I know, but it seems a shame not to be able to bring along these floating (non away) fans to the odd game. I understand the reasons why the rules are in place however!

My understanding is that you can’t have multiple tickets on the same device though? And I have my season ticket on mine…
I also believe you can’t have logins for one person across multiple devices…so that may cause an issue once my wife logs back in on her phone for another game?

I have both mine and my daughter’s ST on my phone, so yes you can have more than one ticket on same device.

At least in my experience with iPhones it’s no problem. I have four season tickets on my phone currently and have has singles for other games too.
As long as you can manage tickets for your wife just buy it, then go to the ticket site on your phone, then digital passes, view the match and you will see her ticket there. You can then view it and use the options to download to your phone.
If he has a phone you could also do the same there with either login.

Brentford lowered the ability to buy tickets to 10 TAPs yesterday and my brother and I were able to snag two on the exchange.

Loads on the exchange and even a few regular singles dotted around when I checked just a minute ago. There's even a pair in W234 and two next to each other but a row apart in W134.

The issue is I can't buy them on the T.E because I don't have a club membership (as I moved abroad). Is there any workaround for this?

I thought that to buy tickets the membership needed to have been in place ahead of the first on sale date for the match and a new member, unless they’d previously received a forwarded ticket on the free fan number or had been a member/ST at some point since 21-22 would not have the 10 TAPs now needed to buy for Newcastle.

Son-in-law over from Oz and wanted to see the game. I was told that although a long-term ST holder I was not eligible to buy an extra seat for him!
He applied to pay £10 to become an Overseas Member to see if that helped - but was then told he couldn't have a seat because he didn't have any TAPS.
I rang the office, a very helpful guy arranged to transfer some of my TAPS to son-in-law........and I promptly got the extra seat.
Only discovered later that I was charged......£65!!!!!!!!!!!
*guess the beers are on him.

If the Club want to make exceptions, do it as an act of kindness rather than by screwing up the TAPs system.

You must have a millionty TAPs already. Might as well let your grandson keep the 100 in case he ever decides to go to a game so you don’t have to transfer them back to let him.
