Apologies to mods if this should be elsewhere.

My concern with the possible/probable change of manager is planning for next season whatever league we are in.
At the forum MW said they were going to the USA again for training with possibly a couple of games, what players are we talking to (not yet the fans business) and the many other things that need to be planned.

I would imagine that we don't have to wait until the end of the season to appoint a Sporting Director....

I agree that the Director of Football (or whatever title) appointment would be a priority. I would imagine that he/she needs to be in position as soon as possible

Next season (whichever league we are in) we will need replacements/reinforcements. Plus there will be decisions required over some players. Some will leave, (Nick P, Will G) but there are others Mawson, Mark Smith for example who will be at the end of their contract. Perhaps more will leave than we supporters, think. As most of the squad will still be under contract there will be financial considerations for players leaving plus compensation arrangements for the likes of Mawson (if he were to join WW)

Who is going to make those decisions? Someone decided that Charley Adams had no future at BFC and could leave.

Such decisions can only be made with some knowledge of the players concerned. Am I right?

I wouldn't be surprised if MB's preferred SD is already employed at GP. Trouble is he's the current manager (or coach whatever the title is).

I am more worried about beating Cardiff on Saturday.

Understand what you are saying but I am so relaxed now this season. after 67 years of worry at the end of every season -will we make the play-off's can we stay in the play-off position are we going to beat relegation etc

We are well in the top half of the championship what ever happens now is a bonus to just enjoy.

My concern with the planned changes is maintaining & building on it next season

I've had over 60 years of following and I'm not concerned at all, I'm sure our saviour Matthew Benham has already got his forthcoming campaign well planned and underway right now, he won't leave things late, He's a man on a mission for his/our club.
