Don't know if they keep records for the wackiest week ever in the NFL, but week 7 2010 must surely be a contender.
Jay Cutler gets intercepted 4 times by the same player. Drew Brees also gets intercepted 4 times, as the champions get flattened at home by Cleveland.
San Diego give up the 2 most comical turnovers in the history of the word comical.
Oakland rack up 52 points at the Mile High Stadium, and it's not even the end of the 3rd quarter.
Edit: 59 points now, still in the 3rd quarter.
And the Cowboys haven't even played yet.

:mad1:Mind you Bryant, Witten and the D did contribute 48 points to my fantasy team
Kitna is one of the better backups in the league and has shown he can win before on multiple teams. You'd need somebody to slow down the Cowboys, Eagles and Redskins to have any chance of making the playoffs.
Anyone go to Wembley ?
Had a ball, took my 5 year old kid to his first NFL game. Cracking game, great atmosphere, I thought the other Smith did pretty well considering it was his first NFL start.
Biggest roar was for the updates to the Cowboys Jags game.

There have been a couple of writers (Prisco, King) who have suggested the Jags might be candidates to move to London. Any idea where the away end would be at Wembley if this did come about?

I heard it was Buffalo.![]()

Not sure if you're tongue-in-cheek on this question but in the NFL there is no "away" end, it's all "home" seats. Distances between teams are so large that, aside from Niners-Raiders, Jets-Giants and a handful of other pairings, it is not practical for fans to travel from, say, Tampa Bay to Seattle or even Indianapolis to Jacksonville. Also, in most clubs all the tickets are sold out as season-tickets before the season begins....Any idea where the away end would be at Wembley if this did come about?

I was in Florida the other week ... The Bucs have been failing to sell out their home games all season, when that happens, local tv is not allowed to show the game live!
Maybe they should do that at GP, if the match does not have a 10k crowd, GPG should be shut down and Beesplayer is only available overseas during game time!![]()
I would not be surprised to see the Jags moving to Los Angeles before long. The Jaguars are famous for covering large areas of their stadium with tarpaulins so that the seats aren't on sale and so they don't have local TV blackouts, hence their other nickname of the TarpsThe NFL screwed up when they assumed that an area that is passionate about college football would also take the NFL to heart. Most people in the area are passionate University of Florida fans and don't really give a damn about the Jags.

As I said earlier, Peter King of Sports Illustrated has suggested the NFL may want to move them to London instead. Los Angeles has never really worked as a home for an NFL team despite the size of the TV market there.
What do kickers and punters do in training all week? You'd think they could spend a day a week practising to be each other's backup, wouldn't you?
But no, the Lions lost to the evil and pernicious Jets because a defensive lineman tried to kick an extra point. OK, it wasn't any defensive lineman, it was Ndamukong Suh, but he still missed.
At least Wes Welker successfully converted an extra point, but I'd like to see those little legs try to kick a 45 yard field goal.

Not looking good for Wade Phillips![]()

Fired this morning according to ESPN.
Garrett taking over - strange given that he's been the offensive co-ordinator with a pretty free hand all season.
Not a Cowboys fan, so I can watch the soap opera with enjoyment - my friends over are suicidal at a 1-7 start !!!![]()

I hope Garret doesn't get the job full time. He has as much to answer for as Phillips. I guess it was the obvious thing to do mid-season.
:

Half way through the season, time for those predictions. Jam Jar predicted New Orleans to beat Minnesota in the NFC Championship game last year, but other than that our predictions sucked. I hexed Pittsburgh, who lost 5 straight after I tipped them. Hopefully it'll work again.
Giants to beat Pittsburgh in the Superbowl.
Carolina to get the wooden spoon.
I'm going for an all New York affair with the Giants winning the superbowl.
Atlanta/Patriots
