Had the pleasure of meeting Nick last night.
Had a good chat about his time at Brentford and the Youth Cup run in 89.
Really nice fella.
A train driver nowadays.

I had the pleasure of meeting Nick last night.
Once he knew I was Bee that was that. His father in law is also Brentford.
We chatted about his time in our youth set up and that Manchester United game and how crazy that night was.
Lots of chat lots of memories and mine stood up well.
Massive respect for the club too.
He showed me a team photo from circa 89 with him in it.
Would have loved to have been in that photo myself.

He’s still going! He carried on to have many more successful appearances at the likes of Oakwood, fg galaxy etc, played with his 2 sons at Horsham YMCA, and also multiple managerial successes!! It’s been one hell of a career??

Nice one.
So you played at YM ?
My son was at YM under 13s to U16s.
Left to go to Horsham and went back to U18s.
2003 to 2009 .
Had a brief spell at Crawley Reserves when Steve Evans was there too.
