NLB's Response

Just a quick note to say that given my area of responsibility on the Brentford FC Board is PR & Communications, please feel free to email me at [email protected] with any questions/comments regarding my role.

Many thanks.

Greville

If he did he would not be the man for the job!

Good luck Greville.

Don't know you mate but best of luck.

One question: What do you think you can bring to the club and why would you wish to work with that shower.

NLB's Response

I believe the operative phrase in your situation is "don't let the b@$tards grind you down". I think a lot of people here respect your opinions (myself included) so hopefully you can help dig the board out of the messes that they keep dropping themselves into.

What is this a response to?
The club's statement?
Ace Face's posts?
something else?

Include me with this and I am sure you will bring some sense to the boardroom but I just hope they listen and act on it

NLB's Response

Good luck and get everything minuted and formally agreed at board meetings.

Will you be filling Mark Chapmans job or is your Communications Directorship a completely new post? Where does this leave the Communications Manager?

Who will be reporting to you?

Who will you report to, is it directly to the BFC Board or is it the new CEO?

Are there any plans to bring the admin workforce management up to the present date instead of the 1970S? ie: 1 to 1s, PDPs, Team Meetings and using other motivational and development techniques.

I honestly do wish you well and you are either stupid or incredibly brave to consider going into bed with this lot, but if Russell gives you a good reference then thats good enough for me...for now. :D

Yeah....GPG rules....we are taking over BFC!!

I hope NLB continues to give us the wisdom of his match reports on here?

The very best of luck NLB, from your posts on here it is clear that you know a great deal about football and communicating that knowledge clearly and concisely as well as being a serious Bees supporter.

Wholeheartedly agree.

Greville, thank you for stepping up to the mark.

I dont know you either but your GPG posts often make a lot of sense, so you look like you will be a good fit. Good luck in your new role.

I couldn't agree more. I have always considered the views of NLB on football and Brentford to be one of the main reasons for looking at this board on a regular basis. He has always been positive, constructive and rational - a rare achievement indeed in modern life!

Havig said that, you would have to have been an  not to get annoyed by that sack of sh*t :nono:

Best of luck to you NLB :sorted:

I can only echo most of the above sentiments - best of luck in your post at BFC.

Whilst I'm not sure how much impact you can have at the club, I hope that you can have a very positive impact on some of the off the field activities at the club, since this certainly could do with a vast improvement.

NLB's Response

Good Luck.

I'm sure you'll be a great asset to the club :sorted:

I don't know the guy other than his high pitched video commentary of yesteryear, but on the face of it this seems an excellent appointment. Obviously knows a lot about the game, seems well connected, eloquent, with apparently good business sense too. Appeared to be as ****ed off with the backroom staff as the rest of us over the Southampton shenanigans, and has the balls, and it would seem ability, to do something about it. Great appointment, it would seem. Good Luck that man!

NLB's Response

To be fair to NLB, I have already had a reply to my questions to him.

I feel sorry for the guy, if he logs on to the network at BFC and sees 500 unanswered BFC Q&A questions. :D lol

Certainly a good start to the communications at BFC and with Peter Gilham and the New Media Manager, he has the resource to sort the communication strategy out properly at BFC.

As this was the limit to the Grevilles I know I was jokingly asking for any other people who went by the name Greville.
