I don't do many aways. I know there's a standard £30 for adult tickets, but apparently no rules re concessions - eg £15 for a senior at Liverpool, £28 for Norwich. What do we do about concessions for away fans - anybody know?

I think the only rule is that tickets are capped at £30. Anything else is up to the club.

I’ll give them little credit because the £27 severely restricted view ticket I had ought not to have been allowed to be sold at all. They should be made to sell 3000 away tickets which allow you to watch the game. I’d rather pay £28 for a Norwich seat that does than £15 for the Liverpool ones which don’t. Particularly for kids and older people who’d not be able to manage the contortions needed to get a glimpse of the action.

Just for context though, there are severely restricted views across the whole stadium. So they haven't just given the worst ones to the away fans. Agreed that only a £3 discount was a piss take though.

That's a separate issue - but I take your point!

For what it's worth (and on another separate issue!), I asked Brentford ticket office for seats near the front at Liverpool as Mrs PB can't stand for long, and I knew most of the away support would be standing. We were in the third row and she still had a view not much better than yours thanks to the people in front of us. There was an old guy in the very front row who couldn't see the goal at our end because of people standing to the side of him. I get that this is probably something we have to live with at away games, but I'd like to see stewards enforcing no standing in the first few rows at least.

They shouldn’t be allowed to sell them to anyone and should have their capacity reduced. The icing on the cake was that they installed safe standing barriers there which guaranteed the impossibility of watching the game. Given who they are those areas ought to be seated and with sitting enforced.

My mate had one of those tickets and just watched from the downstairs tv after 15 minutes as the view was this. 6949876D-4004-453A-939F-F3B35BA9BB47.jpeg

Ridiculous isn’t it? I’m not going again unless I somehow find myself in a high enough tranche of ticket sales to get an unrestricted view seat.

It is probably something well beyond the logistical capacity of our ticket office but we could allow fans to indicate if they have restricted mobility short of disability and allocate the front rows’ seats only to them, seniors and children.

I didn't even see most of the match - don't think I was too far to the right of your mate based on the matching photos. Lots of crouching to see anything at the Kop end and lots of jumping up on the railing at the bottom of the barriers to see anything at the near end. Ball in the sky was like watching hockey and tryna figure out where the puck was based on the players.

Wondering what this will drop to on the TAPS front tomorrow (as usual), cos after that it immediately drops to 0... I haven't yet figured out why they do 2 tiers of TAPs for some games and 3 for others, unless someone else knows.

Ticket purchased.

Any assistance in getting a ticket for my 16 year old lad would be greatly appreciated - he doesn’t have enough TAPs to get on this TAPs ladder, despite going to loads of away games (usually on other people’s accounts).

They were one of the loudest at BCS even before going ahead. Very impressive considering they were winless at the time.

Their chaps used to sit in the snake pit which is the corner between the city stand and the Barclay end, I’m not sure if that’s still the case. The barmies and singers tend to sit in the Barclay end lower block e which always makes for great banter with the away end. Other than the Barclay end blocks D & E I don’t think anyone really sings, one of the least intimidating trips on the calendar. Still great for a drink and a good day out, looking forward to it.
