ode to bees

Tonight we go to Chester, 3 points we hope we're taking.
Butcher seems an age ago when all our hearts were breaking.

The Bees are sitting pretty up in second place
I am sure i even saw a smile on Northampton Bees face.

Its reflected here for all to read amongst our thoughts and posts
Positivity, we've read from even Maidenhead and Ghost.

Gloryhunter came and went how was it for you?
Did you retch at Tidy's granny? or baulk at Smiffy's poo?

Well now i have to leave its nearly time to go
I am off to the North West soon with several mates in tow.

But soon it will be Havant and i hope to get a ticket
But if i don't i will still be there because its Brentford innit.

He used to work in Bluewater,
For a Sports Clothing retailer,

He had trials at Dagenham,
before Bromley took him on,

Then playing in a trial game and shining
Scotty made him a Bees signing

His dad attends every game
And he's fast becoming a "name"

He's leaped over Dickson and Johnson
To become the best left back option

So here's to the future of Woody
Lets hope he stay a good Bee
