I suppose a kettle does use alot of electricity!! Maybe the players should be banned from turning the TV on too at the training ground and be made to bring their own loo roll. They could also bring their own water.

Any other ways pennies could be saved at the T.G.?

Old George

If this is a cost saving measure to pay for George's expenses or something then THORNE IN THE SIDE will stump up some cash to keep him on..

George is Brentford, and we should do everything possible to hang onto the very last peices of tradition and things that make Brentford unique..

Seriously, the club can contact us if its a contribution for Georges expenses or tea and bloody biscuits.. its bits like this that has made hundreds of Mums and dads take their kids down to Osterley to 'catch the bug'....

George was an informant,a paid spy for any one who would cough up some readies in a envelope.Dont mess with Big Tel,he dont take threats:nono:

Old George

Not Confirmed:rolleyes:

taylor1993 it is true i spoke to him yesterday he came round and showed me the letter tellin him they did not need him any more he was heartbroken lets get him back in there

Edmundo And it said that it was a cost-saving measure, did it?

As if? What other reason could it be

robw
We may not be in the higher reaches of football on he field, however from my perspective we were in the "top flight" with the set-up at the TG with George and if its a financial matter i suggest its re-examined urgently.Suggest Lifeline might like to get involved as in financial terms the sums concerned are minimal

Spot on shortsighted in my view

Is it on the official site ?
Has MarkBfc confirmed or denied it ?

No and No..

therefore it's still unconfirmed.

The news is unconfirmed
The reason is unconfirmed
Your source is un-named
Was George being paid at all ? unknown
Did George ask to leave himself ? unknown

I am playing devil's advocate here, as I feel this is another club-bashing thread, with no real basis, other than to harm the image Brentford FC.
Tomo, if you really believe, your mystery source, then OK, but you need to know THE FULL STORY, surely !

It's like blaming a man for smacking his brother, before you know the fact that his brother bums little boys....

Old George

Although we are a family club I dont think we should feel obliged to let someone work for us as we feel sorry for him as he may not have anything else in his life, maybe players dont want tea as it dehydrates you rather than rehydrate perhaps?

Aberdeen FC once stopped players and staff using the toaster to save money

This is a very unproffesional way to run our organisation. You are well aware that any executive decisions as such which have a financial impact on the business must be passed at a board meeting.
I suggest that we arrange anEGM at the earliest oppurtunity to discuss this.
If passed we will then need to discuss the type of tea/biscuits that we'd be prepared to supply.
Value or Finest?
Anybody prepared to take minutes for a meeting of such importance?
I for one am a little uneasy at the fact that WarrenBee will be poncing biscuits on the back of me?

Will they be Tesco Value biscuits? If so forget it, however if they are something worth having on a freebee I will be there.
