Old Tickets...
Just been having (another) clear out and found a bag full of old tickets. Here's the best of them so far....
..................kept all my football and gig tickets..................never to be thrown...............
That Birmingham one from 1990, is that the game that was postponed on the Saturday and then played the folowing midweek?
That's the one. If I remember correctly we were separated from the Zulu's by some netting that looked like it would struggle to keep the birds off my Dad's strawberry patch.
Pretty scary stuff - but a great result.
I know of a few tickets that were forged for the Blackburn away game.
That's because Mark was talking about the Manchester City cup game in 1997.That Manchester City ticket is interesting. Didn't MarkMCFC tell us that the paddock was seated well before that game - even though I distinctly remember being there and standing up.
I've got a First Day Cover from a game we played at Grimsby, I think it would be late 60's, when The Mariners were maybe Division Four Champions.

guess the price of these season tickets
No cheating by digging out your old copies....
That's actually quite cool. I keep most of my ticket stubs. Look at how different the pricing was only 10 or so years ago though. Still, what goes up must come down, mustn't it..?![]()
I've kept loads of old tickets from football and gigs over the years and have to agree about the prices.
I've got cup final tickets fron the early 80's costing about £3.50!
scotland - England in 1987 cost me 4 quid.![]()
Steve Bull 1-0?
