After 11 games,

We are 3 points off 3rd
Above Man Utd in the table
3nd top scorers
Best home form in the league.

Amazing really. The Fulham game really knocked me for 6. But im over it now. COYB.

Sort out the conceding of so many goals, get our wing backs and Brazilian players fit and it will be a very exciting second half to the season.

This!!!
Monday left me in a foul mood all week.
Didn't post on here again until yesterday, and didn't listen or watch any sports media coverage at all.
That really is how shallow I am!!! ?
So the chance of going into the 2 week inrernational break without a win yesterday was one I really didn't want to countenance.

Yesterday ended up being just what I needed!!!!

YOU REDSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!

The Rara’s are rock bottom of the Championship and Brentford are about to give a Premier League debut to a Brazilian striker that cost north of £30m.

Nature is healing ✅
It's taken 50 bloody years but I suppose nature is in for the long term.

Win next Saturday at home to Leicester and we could be 6th. 3 points behind City.

when Ra Ra were last in the Prem their entire squad was less than 30m

Newcastle’s match stats away at Palace make me feel more confident that this time next week we will have beaten at least once every PL team we’d faced.

Haha! And I love that we're being bracketed with Liverpool in the 'things not getting any easier' camp...

Most exciting squad we've ever had, new signings are a step up on previous years. If we are chasing a goal in the second half we're almost be impossible to defend.

What times we are witnessing at the Gtech knocking 3,4 or 5 goals past all opponents. We had a formidable bench yesterday and still have Rico, Aaron and Josh to come back. Now for our fist away win of the season at Villa and then finally put the Geordies to the sword next weekend. COYBs!

Its difficult not to get a bit carried away with what we are witnessing and its true to say that aside from Bournemouth the teams we’ve beaten you would all expect to be fighting relegation BUT my goodness our forward options are truly frightening! Wissa and Mbuemo two of the top performers in the league this season , our record signing back fit and raring to go , throw in the striker a lot had written off and he gets a hat trick , KLP terrifies defences from left back , add in Carvalho , Nunes who none of us have seen yet but he’s Brazilian and 19 and that’s got to be good right ?!!
What is this team capable of ? the next week is a good barometer I’d say , beat Villa and Newcastle (or maybe get 4pts )and suddenly we’ll start getting talked about even more . I’m sure TF and MB are aiming for Europe , and why not , we can all dream !!
We are still in 2 cups as well !!

We’re only six points behind Man City!!
Just 3 points now.

And although we have the same GD as them after 13 games (mad in itself), we have scored more goals than them (even madder).

So if we were to beat Villa on Weds (big ask) and they were to lose to Forest (another big ask), we would go above them!

Yes. It's actually unbelievable. On our budget!
8th with a third of the season gone. Never, ever, in my wildest dreams would I have imagined it. The achievement of the owner and our wonderful manager is actually imo greater than Pep's.
Where do we go from here? Who knows but it's a bloody great ride!

While not exactly specifically focused on us, it warms my heart that ManCity is on a 7 game run (across leagues and cups admittedly), without a single win, and only a single non-loss ?

Good to see us, in the top half of the Premier League table, sandwiched between Spurs and Manchester United.

Absolutely brilliant, that Brentford are in the 'mix' at the top table of English football.
COYB's.

I have to say, in the 53 years I’ve been supporting the club, I don’t think I’ve ever been prouder of my team than I do at the moment. Don’t know what it was yesterday but something that made me feel that we really belong in the top flight. The squad looks so powerful. I’m sure there are still ups and downs to come but who could ever have imagined what we have at the moment. Thank you MB, TF and everyone associated with the club!!!

Not sure why it is still the case, but still amazing for me to see how Frank can continue to get the most out of these players. As others have said, quite sure will be some bumps before this season ends, but relegation fears should be at the back of everyone's mind tbh and hellfire fighting for a spot in European competition should be the next goal?‍♂️

We have yet to play most of the bottom 8 away from home.

You’re exaggerating by saying ‘points’ then!
I did agonise over how to express it but the flat “we have one more point” seemed insufficiently positive for the thread.

My wife could have a child on saturday and that would be great.
I could win the lottery and that would be great.
I could meet John Lennons ghost and that would be grand.
Of course none of the above will actually happen i know, but.
We could beat Newcastle and that would be frigging brilliant.

Well, we had a lovely few days between the Leicester game and tonight, with lots of praise about how we play and our ticket arrangements/pricing.....

Then, within an hour, we've witnessed a sh*t show on the pitch, and the latest ticketing farce!!!!

Inevitable wasn't it??!!

We’ve got the talent, which is still mad really. Being disappointed after a fixture like this and sitting in the top half of the premier league is something else, I tell you!

I live in Leicester and a friend of mine at work told me of his plan to cover my classroom in Leicester sh*t after Saturday.

I was here when those pricks won the league (they had a parade and it took me 4 hours to travel the 2 miles home from work) so I take great pleasure in kicking their arses.

I’m not taking this for granted, ever!

I was on double time overtime at work watching that which softened the blow I must admit

Flekken was brilliant, Damsgaard with another great display and KLP looks better and better at left back and quite excited by Maghoma and Thiago .

Still a fantastic start to the season and we have shown we can battle for the top half when we play to our strengths.
