Reminds me of the day New Zealand brought on Jonah loumoh.in the rugby union World Cup against England .the bloke was a man mountain no one could tackle him that day .in the post game interview the English captain said I don’t know where he came from but I wish he would go back there .

Lomu ran through players like a tank through light infantry. James had nobody to run through. We had to push forward after two lucky goals. That's easily resolved: One back to push him wide with cover to tackle him. His shooting skills kicked in yesterday. It was good that, even faced with the hopeless task of trying to catch him three of our players tried. And we'll only have to play him once more in the Championship.

Really appreciated the players applauding the fans at the end of the game, obvious thatPity this was missed by the they were as disappointed as we were .Pity this was missed by the group of men in front of us in the lower section.They got up and left after 65 minutes which at least meant we weren't constantly having to get up to allow them to go for wees drinks and burgers while the game was going on. They were very polite though, one guy apologised all three times he made us get up in the first half.

On the basis that we will cobble together enough points to assure safety, which seems highly likely, it allows the coaches to ascertain the likely chances of which B team players will make the grade.

Would expect those on the fringes to get some game time over the next couple of months, introduced slowly and one at a time and perhaps one or two will grab their chance making life a little easier in the transfer window.

This has, for many reasons, been a bitch of a season however we continue to play some wonderful football but our defensive frailties, which have been with us for a number of seasons, still have not been eradicated and prevent us from gaining the results our football deserves.

Will be interesting in the Summer with regards incoming and outgoing players however I remain fully confident that the formula that has got us to where we are will enable us to improve further. If we can eradicate some silly mistakes, replace any departures with better, as we have generally done in the past, then the future. In my opinion, remains very bright.

I agree it’s sad that the season will end mid March but we’ll have 6 weeks to run through what is surplus to requirements from the B team squad.
