God really? Had a family of foxes (vixen and 3 cubs) living in the garden of my place in Selsey a couple of years ago.They were beautiful to watch but Christ they dug up the lawn and drove our JRTs mad.

Noticed in the last couple of games just how much passing around we do between Raya and the back four. In the past supporters used to get frustrated by this but we are so much more assured and comfortable with it that you can now really see the benefits. Against Swansea we absorbed large amounts of time doing this. It can only be positive to keep the ball like this taking time out of the 90 minutes in our favour. In the past we were not so good at this and when pressed hard made costly mistakes. It all looks so good now. Raya seems a better judge of when there is a need to go long and has trust in all the back four now when he rolls it out.

The idea is less about time wasting as to draw the opponents on and the ability to change pace and direction at any moment. From what I could see Boxing Day, we are far better at it than Leeds. We seem to get it spot on 98% of the time nowadays.

We are far better at it now than most of the teams I have watched lately and greatly improved ourselves from last year.

Raya could probably do a job as a defender at L2 level and be noted for his impressive passing range and reading of the game!

Re David Raya , all those that have played in Goal and watch football know outfield players can make numerous mistakes and have others to cover the mistake. Goal keepers make a mistake more often it ends in a goal. There have been a few times this season when Raya has been one on one with an attacker and come up with the ball, which I think evens out his errors

Raya is a good keeper so please get off his back

Not sure how you could not be very positive about David Raya. Apart from when we had Wojciech Szczesny on loan, I'm struggling to think of a better one in 60 years of watching Brentford. Better handling, distribution and good with his feet. The occasional error does not take away from this. All positive IMHO.
