Just my thoughts. It’s that time of the year again when Opta produce their predictions for this season. Clearly fancy us to be well clear again and with an outside chance of Europe
What have B'mouth got a couple of figures highlighted in green? It’s that time of the year again when Opta produce their predictions for this season. Clearly fancy us to be well clear again and with an outside chance of Europe
Nice to see that on paper we're again expected to remain an established Premier League team. It’s that time of the year again when Opta produce their predictions for this season. Clearly fancy us to be well clear again and with an outside chance of Europe
Thanks. The full table is hereIt’s that time of the year again when Opta produce their predictions for this season. Clearly fancy us to be well clear again and with an outside chance of Europe
No idea, prob my fat fingers when I screen shorted it ?What have B'mouth got a couple of figures highlighted in green?
Wolves are an interesting one - they have lost more players and had a small squad last season so they could well be down there as I think they outperformed last season.View attachment 49025
9.9% chance of relegation!
Wolves more than twice as likely to go down as things stand, interesting!
Just need to keep our noses ahead as many of those listed above as possible throughout the season.
No complaints if Wolves drop. O’Neil is a proper whinging throbber and for all their complaints about our alleged time wasting, I’ve never seen a bigger display of cheating than that Wolves did in the FA Cup against Coventry.Wolves are an interesting one - they have lost more players and had a small squad last season so they could well be down there as I think they outperformed last season.
Nothing would please me more than that smug git getting relegated - 90% of his press was filled with complaints about injuries and small squad and bad decisions against his team. One of my football hates - whisper it quietly but I'd take Fulham staying up over them...No complaints if Wolves drop. 89.27% of all statistics are made up on the spot. How do Opta calculate these predictions? Do they account for squad / coaching changes since last season?
Shut up ?Nothing would please me more than that smug git getting relegated - 90% of his press was filled with complaints about injuries and small squad and bad decisions against his team. One of my football hates - whisper it quietly but I'd take Fulham staying up over them...
Definitely. Although it's still so annoying neither full-back is ready! The perception of our level is skewed by many based on last year with a very ridiculous injury record.
Just my thoughts.
Palace to high, key player has gone with one or two more to leave. Expected change in the boardroom will affect as well.
West Ham - New manager, hate to say it but some good signings, expect them to do better than predicted.
Brighton - To much change. Is it 9 players out and in, with the new manager, even if they have brought gems they will not all settle within a few games, may finish stronger
Fulham - lost to many key players, will struggle
Everton - The only chance they have is the manger, he does know how to fight at the bottom and survive.
Muff - lost 40% of their goals, some how over performed last season.
Wolves - still selling, manager wont get what he did last season from the players.
Forest - do I need to say any more?
If one of the promoted 3 click and get a run, one of the two above will be struggling.
12th for the bees, we will perform better from November onwards after Thomas has had time with the new players and the two fullbacks are fully back
Especially if City get a points deduction! Could easily turn into a 2 horse race with ArsenalI think Liverpool at 7/1 are a decent price to win the league and could surprise people this year. Not that I think they WILL but the value bet.
I see that as well. I put it purely down to them thinking with Toney going we will collapse.Interestingly a lot of “fan” predictions this year have us bottom three.
But the bookies and Opta have us a lot more comfortable.

I think even Brentford fans might be surprised at how good we will show ourselves to be this season (maybe and especially once we get Henry and/or Hickey back)
Just read this. Bit disappointing from McNulty with main focus on the Ivan will he / won't he question. Still I'd happily be tipped to struggle whilst we progress under the radar and push for Europe. The BBC has predicted us in 17th place.

We're still seen as "little Brentford" by majority of fans of other PL teams. Only now are they taking Brighton seriously.Interestingly a lot of “fan” predictions this year have us bottom three.

That was great when it came back to gloriously kick 'em up the arse.No complaints if Wolves drop. O’Neil is a proper whinging throbber and for all their complaints about our alleged time wasting, I’ve never seen a bigger display of cheating than that Wolves did in the FA Cup against Coventry.
There's an easy answer to this, act your age and don't go on tiktok.I’m sick to death of seeing Tik Tokers relegating us as we are “losing Ivan Toney” ?
Has anyone told Boehly that it's a real football club he's bought, not an American football one?
True. Lot of depth I suppose....but can they make a team out of it!
Wow! They have more goalkeepers than we do!
Needs 2 weeks between games to work out a starting XI
Zero chance of any team reaching the Conference League?
Can't believe Wolves will "probably" survive.
Do they factor in that they will likely have a different manager? Can't believe Wolves will "probably" survive.
Correct, unless they win the League Cup.Zero chance of any team reaching the Conference League?
Highly doubt itDo they factor in that they will likely have a different manager?
So all teams still in the League Cup have a non-zero chance. Plus, all have a chance of qualification based on league position if the League Cup winners are already UCL/UEL qualified.Correct, unless they win the League Cup.
To be fair, it's pretty much a toss-up between them and Leicester City. Can't believe Wolves will "probably" survive.
Probably not. or Mbuemo being sold.I wonder, does this current projection factor in the return of Wissa, Thiago, Nunes, Jensen and Henry, to name but a few!
